Why, for god's sake, US $, or any other fiat currency, is money? It's no
longer backed by any real asset. It's only a promise to pay. The official
name of US $ is "federal reserve note". It's backed by the full faith and
credit of the federal reserve (or US govt). Unfortunately, that
faith/credit has been massively abused and is eroding its value by day.

Also Apple's iWork announcement is bad news for MS. Office is going
to be seriously challenged by Apple, as well as Google. Moreover,
it can trigger cooporate users switching to Apple, further eroding Windows'
dominance le.
You can compare AAPL and MSFT stock price 1 year from now. I am no
expert on picking stocks -- I suspect AAPL's curve will look prettier
than MSFT's. |
