我后来在网上买了一根硬盘esata+USB 一体的线接我的裸盘，用了漫长时间觉得不错，
后来我的esata的口子貌似坏了。插USB可以用，但是插esata的线就找不到设备，哪天
无聊的时候我还是打电话去折腾一下DELL售后去。 |

但是eSATA需要热插拔, 这个必须有ACHI支持. 但是不代表ACHI支持了就全是eSATA. 从
另一方面来说, eSATA和SATA在逻辑上没区别, 只是线和电源有所不同. 所以你说全部
eSATA也不算错. 开了ACHI以后, 内置硬盘确实也可以热插拔的.
至于ACHI模式下windows启动不了, 刚才已经有人讲过了. windows 7改一下很容易的,
XP比较麻烦. |

一根有2个usb输入口的usb线。我估计是用这个线来让USB口充当硬盘esata供电
的。我的问题是当我同时连接USB和esata线的时候，系统是按照esata还是按照
usb的方式来挂载这个盘呢？

但外插硬盘就是不亮，
但该硬盘靠自己的usb口(besides esata)
查前板的usb是能认识的。
所以怀疑以下几点可能:
1. esata线：很stiff，写着 crimping esata,不知啥意思，是不是线错了？
2. 外置硬盘: usb亮，esata不亮
3. 主板bios需要改设置enable接前板esata口的那个sata socket？
4. 其他原因请补充。
以上哪个？请指教。

发帖数: 1964 | 9 后面有位说差3倍，俺没体会到，copy大文件的时候eSATA在我的电脑上达到过50M多(
7200.11 1.5T)，USB的差不多多30M(myBook 500M)左右的样子。如果是两个外置硬盘对
copy，那从eSATA<->USB跟USB<->USB那是差太多了。总起来说，eSATA就跟内置硬盘一
样，瓶颈在硬盘。
很多eSATA的盒子据说挑主板。

口和数据线。机箱面板有esata的接口和esata-to-sata的数据线，我直接连到主板上了
。我以为这样就可以把外置硬盘直接通过esata连到电脑了，可是系统不认啊。要重启

要eSATA连接的是一个外部的硬盘盒和主板后边暴露出来的eSATA接口，
和已经安装的内置硬盘们没关系。
我也无意去折腾这些内置硬盘们,他们靠IDE或SATA工作得很好。
问题是外部连接的eSATA识别不了(again，硬盘盒通过USB连接的蛮好)。 |

eSATA就是SATA的变种，当然需要调整硬盘的配置，跟SATA上接的硬盘是一个共用芯片。
所以如果你用IDE mode装的XP，一旦改成AHCI就嗝P了。改了重装吧，这样你就可以用
eSATA了。
USB跟eSATA没任何关系，USB能用只能说明你这个外置硬盘的盘片是好的。 |

接了电源线和eSATA线就行。可以插2.5''和3.5‘’的SATA硬盘，我的320G和1.5T的
7200.11工作得都挺好。
