一般对方看你拿check会故意少给你一些（少太多的话就威胁他你要去dealer修，中国
同胞搞价应该没有问题），自己没有时间就算了
轮胎让他们检查，自己感觉车跑不直的话要求加上aligment的钱。
停车场的小事故很多根本不涨保险，对方要涨也是10-30元半年。我被人刮过后bumper没有
要一分钱（我是旧车），我碰过别人的新车bumper对方也没有要一分钱。但是被人撞过
后门（和你一样的过程），结果不小心车门缝掉漆的地方生锈了已经穿孔（三个月），
（bumper是塑料，有掉漆不影响使用和resale），当时给我check 1300刀，我的后门只
能从里面。 |

第一，在长达3个月的时间里，你就跟representative沟通了3次，如果我是你，他那儿
要是放我鸽子，我一天就打3个电话，一周之内没有任何有效的回复，直接就报
supervisor。
第二，我理解的向保险公司claim的过程，要求保险公司cover修车费用和租车费用，都
是要经过保险公司approve的。approve的方式，一则是你去他指定的修车铺修车，bill
直接会给保险公司。二则是你自己选择修车铺，在这样的情况下，保险公司会派出
estimater来inspect你的车，看究竟哪些修车费用是由他们cover的。
据lz这么讲，感觉progressive很无赖，说不定就不承认那些修的部位是这次车祸造成
的。lz当时应该有照片的吧，修车铺应该也会有照片。先把照片都搜集全了。另外，查
一下你们州的法律，是不是有规定保险公司必须在多少时间内respond，如果有，找律
师发个律师函，就算去small claim court告，也很有把握赢的。 |

大家过节好！
假期里开着Rental Car出来游玩。不幸在一个红绿灯处
发生一事故。由于街道窄，我右拐时跟一直行的车发生轻微擦碰。对方车bumper有明显
凹陷，我的车有约5厘米长的凹陷，不过不太明显，不细看还真看不出来。
对方坚持要叫警察。警察记录和交换了保险信息，没给ticket，也没说谁的错。对方用
state farm, 我是all state.
对方肯定会找我保险公司的。我不知道租车公
司会不会看出来，能不能侥幸蒙过去（我有$500deductible)。请问大家该如何处理？<

damage了，从警察报告里发现出过事故，但我没报告，会不好有什么更坏的后果？

下几种方法：
1） 将probability score乘以一个常数，使之变为整数，再加上限，比如if score
> 100 then score=100。同时告知这个Score也可以当probability使用（除以100即可
）。但假如你的score是要卖给第三者，你就要防止别人reverse engineer你的score的
话，这个方法不能用。
2） 可以将probability score 分100等分(PROC RANK)，每一等分的score为1， 2
， 3，…, 99, 100。
3） 看看probability score的分布，以中值为中心，定为score=50，再向两边发散
。这样的话，你可以“制造”一个正态分布的score。
2）and 3) 可以确保别人不能reverse engineer你的score，同时score只适用于rank
order，而不是estimat，比如说你可以说score =90比score=30好，但不能说score=90

这张图是ipad 1的卖出量.一直到9月ipad都基本处于到处oos的状态,所以我们可以认为
4-9月number of sold=apple的出货量.可以看到Q2(4-6月)总货量保持一致,均为1milli
on/月,余下的每个quarter的出货量也基本保持一致,个人觉得可以认为apple是每个qua
rter之前定好月出货量,并且定下以后不会改变或者说没有能力改变.ipad最火的4-6月,
apple的出货量都只有1million/月,而且4月底出3g,5月底在其他一些国家上市,实际上进
一步导致了平均下来每种model的数量都很少.很显然apple并没有料到ipad会如此之火,
