下。我可能入戏比较慢，前面跟生物学无关的铺垫可能长一点，希望能有人看得下去。

另外也是看到大家一直在讨论生物学的进步有赖于技术进步，显微镜，GWAS, etc，心
里想想好像确实是这样，但是又觉得不甘心。现在看到一本书讲生物学如何启发经济学
家，物理学家，感觉这应该就是我找的回答了吧。
很多人名我不熟，我也不知道他们是谁。。。
开头是说一个经济学家，阿瑟，他当时的环境是古典经济学完美无缺的时候，有点像十
九世纪的经典物理学，大家认为经济学至善至美了，修修补补就可以了。（下面这句是
大家熟知的高中经济课本的废话，但是为了引出生物不得不表。）当时的主要观点是市
场可以自己调控，自由经济应该是一切（供求）平衡，如果有点不平衡，比如有人看到
一个供不应求的挣钱的机会，那么因为大家都是理性的，大家都过来挣钱，报酬递减，
不平衡在大局势下会重新平衡。这样下去，供求永远平衡，完美无缺。

meaningful models. Most of the time, the data-generating process
require so much more labor than simulation on computers. And modelers
often require strict time points, strict location points, strict dose
points, to fit into differential equations or machine learning models.

2. limit of current models, like you said, high-dimension curse, and
something like NP-hard. Is statistic (machine learning) models better
or PDE (kinetical, finite elements, etc) models better?
3. Is current mathematical tools enough?
we are already stuck in level 1, so don't even need to think of level 2,

面试人人准备，可几句下来，pd 或是其他人就会有了impression. 近了这个program 一个多月了， 我觉得我的PS并没有突出我的strength. 如果你有同样的感觉， 面试一定要emphasize.
给了10个左右的tour, 1 CMG, grad in 90ish, 1ABC 4th yr student, 1 American 4th yr student, 其他为indian为主的亚洲FMG, grad in 2004-2007. 我们的weakness就是毕业年限长, 长的还不是一点半点：）我们的potential毋庸置疑，但pd挑的人是来了就能干活，所以尽可能表现的对现有inpatient care 熟门熟道。突出observship. 我们的优势：在美国呆了较久，比较熟悉culture；我们年龄偏大，较成熟。印度同学们来势凶猛，Philippine,Napal，Thai紧随其后，多是２００７，２００６... 阅读全帖 |

我想找俩人，一起复习。
现在Pathoma，Gojian，FA。因为我上班，所以时间为西部时间晚上8点以后。
我现在看书比较快，我的目的不是一起读书，而是一起就书里面的重要知识点一起讨论
，记忆。比如Gojian这本书每一章，大概框架，知识结构，每一块下面需要强调记忆的
东西。就是说比如我们讲到氧化磷酸化，讲到ETC，我们需要和疾病药物联系起来。讲
到Hypoxia，我们可以一起把知识一串一串的讲。简而言之，就是把知识变成我们自己
的，可以复述，清晰讲解机制。
对于病理我的复习方式是以Pathoma为主。这本书我过了2遍，听videos，现在第三遍。
我每天可以抽时间听完一章。我觉得对videos的熟练怎么强调都不为过。我自己也认真
做过笔记，ppts，我可以和你share。
我现在在做UW题库，计划是年底之前精做一遍，我现在进度是按照FA章节做。
明年1-2月打算把题库reset，按考试的形式做。周末一次做7 blocks。
过年以前，我还希望可以把微生物，药理，生化，心血管，神经总结记忆。
当然，我们可以一起，大家群策群力比较有效。

在Hilo（岛东边）住了三天后，我们搬到Kona（岛西岸）住了3天。Kona最有名的是咖
啡，我们住的B&B也是藏在咖啡园里的。在这里我们喝到了至今喝过的最好的咖啡，原
来以前听说Kona Coffee酸味比较重都是骗人的。。。
