我gf之前住在south loop的一个公寓，房东是个美国人也住在房子里。这个人平时比较
叩门，什么东西碰了他的就大叫。这些就不说了，反正人不怎么样。现在碰到事情是这
样的：
我gf6月份从他家搬到了chinatown附近，但此房东说什么都不肯把deposit归还，理由
是我gf把他墙弄脏了，而且用过他的锅，repaint的费用比deposit（$550）要高，所以
不能归还。但实际上这是无中生有，他的墙一直很干净，他摆明了是想欠着不给。而且
，我感觉他有点像是我们是 chinese student不能把他怎么样的感觉。
但我觉得，我们没有理亏，想寻求法律帮助，请问版上有人有这些方面经验吗？我们需
要做些什么呢？
真的非常感谢，也第一次在美国碰到这种人。

态度非常恶劣。我在evanston帮人买过一辆旧车，死活不让做check，最后朋友还是想
买，就买了。结果果然有问题。 sales在看你买了之后立刻变得爱理不理。
countryside就更极品了。买新车，价格和电话里说的不一样，把人骗去之后就不承认
。 谈好了价格，钱取出来之后，在paper work做手脚，价格比最近进门的时候更贵。
。。 决定不买之后，出门的时候，我还听见dealer说 get fucking out之类的话。
这两家的sales非常没有礼貌，经常打断我的话。
从没见过这样垃圾的dealer。

西北大学附近挺方便的，mall有skokie的 old orchard。离得不远有大家发，和Hmart
，evanston的studio现在应该是750以上吧，合租的话费用会降低。 很多人买二手家具
，可以在creigslist上看一下。
