讲到华农生物，好像是和另外2个学校并列第8。当然和前几所TOP的学校差距还是明显
的，但其他好多中国“名校”的生科院还真的仔细比一比干货，34所985“名校”里，
有很多的生物口还真是比不过华农的生科院。植物和微生物都是传统优势学科。生物信
息这两年夜很猛，有一个千人，一个青千，一个千人正在引进。还有国内自己培养的一
个马上上杰青的。有几个生科院有这么多做生物信息的？

达尔文的物种起源是进化生物学的奠基之作。 但是通读物种起源并不能完整的理解进
化（演化）生物学。达尔文的时代人们对遗传的本质没有了解，物种起源中的的泛遗传
学说（pangenesis）有很大的弊端。在后期版本的物种起源里面达尔文甚至加上了获
得性遗传的内容！ 因为泛遗传学说的误导，达尔文学说并不能与实验中出现的
variation相
一致，科学家争论不断，导致了1880到1920的 “the eclipse of Darwinism”.
直到1900年孟德尔遗传的重新发现，基因以及染色体的发现，Fisher惊人数学能力的引
入。
从1920-1940年代影响极为深远的modern synthesis（以Dobzhansky, Mayr, Simpson为
首的种群生物学家用数学模型以及实验结果验证了自然选择的有效性） 开始，达尔文

的确，张建之是Dr. Nei的phd学生，他的2011的PNAS也是直接投稿（Direct
Submission）后Dr. Nei编辑的。具体过程记不太清了，应该是Dr. Nei是推荐的三个
reviewer之一。李文雄（WH Li）应该是另一个推荐的reviewer（WH Li也是Dr. Nei的
学生，是张建之的师兄）。领域内的院士也就那么几个。
下面我想用几个理由说明张建之研究的独立性是很强的。
