outlet (that's called Level 1/L1 charging) that is abundant in any garage.

the lifespans of different batteries can be tested by both the manufacturers
and the existing cars on the road. yes there is degradation, but it is less
than what people had speculated

8C and even 2.8F do not have is the EVS system. The "secret" button in the c
enter of the aperture control wheel can be pressed and turned to couple or u
ncouple the EVS system. EVS system allows one fixed EV value with correspond
ing shutter speed and aperture combination. The EV value is read off from th
e center pointer of the shutter speed knob.

the resale value of electric vehicles is not known yet, because the size of
the 2nd hand EV market is not big enough to make a clear judgement.
but overall, EVs are know to have much longer lifespan compare to ICE cars.
they also pay for themselves over the years by less fuel cost and less
maintenance.
The only thing that can make an EV "technically outdated" is the capacity of
the battery. However, it is entirely likely, when new batteries benefit

America is not the right place for electrics. Sure, we have plenty of big
cities with bad traffic and millions of commuters who could cut down on
fueling costs with an EV. But we also have a huge country, a vast highway
network , and a unique motoring culture in which mobility, freedom, and even

with cost and performance).
this is your point-of-view, but you have nothing to support
technical innovation will make EVs better and better, everybody knows that.
but don't mix it with the safety concern you mentioned before.
my point was, EVs are inherently safer than ICE cars. rejecting the idea of
buying an electric car because of cost or inferior performance is acceptable

disagree. with the federal and state incentives, many EVs cost about the
same or less than buying an IDE car.
An EV saves you $500 or more on gas every year you own it, and an another
few hundred by needing less/no maintenance (for BEVs, no oil change and no
transmission fluid refill, for example).
there might be higher depreciation in EVs, but not by material amount. |

with two EVs, that's 117million EVs, assuming Tesla grab 20% of the market,
and people replace their car every 10 years, that's 2million cars per year.
with 35k dollar per car, 70 billion dollar revenue in U.S. alone.
I am confident we won't be there in 5 years, why worry about it now.

If the average battery is half as good, then for normal usage you do not
need to change battery.
As a side note, I can never make sense of the small battery pack EVs, and I
am not talking about range anxiety. You need to charge Tesla roughly once a
week, you need to charge those small battery EVs every day or at least every
other days, which means in 2-3 years the battery will be dead and

and Huper Optik manufactures tints for buildings.
They are expensive (around 350 for normal tint, and 450+ for ceramic tint),
but you won't regret it. A lot of the super cars go there for tints because
EVS does top notch works. |
