Too many stuff, so better start early. 400+ hours highly recommended

我08年考的fsa exam，investment track, 考试内容可能和现在不太一样了
我当时5月先考的apmv，因为当时大学最后一年，学校里基本没什么事了，所以可以安
心准备，认认真真复习了4个月，去考的时候还是没什么把握，对essam exam的答题方
式也是考完了才会比较有经验。
同年11月考fet, 由于已经开始上班了，就放弃看书，直接背flash card，两个月，低
空飞过。
个人感觉，investment比较简单，尤其做的和这个相关，finance 这个track我没听过
，难道是新加的？听起来和investment 差不多。investment死记硬背的东西比life 和
health少，但是如果完全不熟悉，可能计算部分有点吃力。
FSA Module非常容易过，静下心来写的话，一周过一个肯定没问题。 |

谁能给解释下现在的exam P,FM,MFE和过去的course 1,2,3是什么关系啊????要是准备
exam P的话，做2000，2001年relase的course1,2的考题有用吗？
另外要从头pick up以前学的概率统计知识，英语也要熟悉一下的话，要话多长时间准
备啊。full-time学习，现在报3月份的exam P靠谱不？
要是考不过的话有啥严重后果吗？？？

As long as you can get conditioned, you get it! You still have two chances
this May and this November before the big change comes.
I studied for 4 months for the exam and I was also taking 2 classes last
summer and 3 classes last fall.
I know you are very busy now. Just try to arrange the time properly... and do
have a very good rest before the exam since the exam is very long...

qualifying竟然挂了，这面子上真的过不去。毕竟没几个中国学生挂过qualifying
exam。
还让我感觉很糟糕的是，qualifying挂了，真的很对不起这个老师。
这个月初，因为物理系需要个学生材料计算方向的RA，这个老师知道我不喜欢做化学实
验，就推荐我去做这个RA，这样我就可以不用做化学实验并且可以不用做TA了。在和物
理系的老师聊过后，物理系的老师给了我offer，并说按过了qualifying exam的level
2这个级别来给我发工资。
这样子qualifying exam挂掉了，很对不起这个关心我的老师的推荐，感觉给她丢人了
。另一方面，也不好向物理系的老师交行，因为他很可能要因此怀疑我的能力。

CERM 10th edition. I bought that because I was planning to take the exam one
year ago but I messed up something. Now I know the 11th edition has come
out recently and the design codes has updated to the newer ones. The 10th
edition still uses the older code. Now the PPI offers a deal for using 10th
front cover to get half price of 11th edition. Should I take this offer? Can
anyone took the April exam give me some advice? |

Can anyone tell me what reference books I should bring with me for the CA
Seismic and Surveying exams? I am outside CA and don't want to travel with
too many books. For the seismic exam, I plan to bring IBC2006 and ASCE 7,
but am not sure if I also need the ACI 318, ACI 530, AISC manual, and AISC
seismic provision. For the surveying, I plan to bring one or two college
textbooks, is that enough? Please advise, thanks! |

In most of the states, except CA, if you pass the national STRUCTURAL II
EXAM, you will get your SE license.
In CA, you need to pass the CA state-specific SE exam (the board call it SE
III), in addition to national STRUCTURAL II EXAM, to get your CA SE license. |

this---though I am not unusually ignorant about many such topics. I kind of
doubt it is an exam after one year because not all the required courses are
taken during your first year. I think it may be an early registration so that
you can save some fees...like what happens in Illinois bar exam, if I am right
about that.

(2) 准备考试
LSAT 是一个 skill-based exam, 而Patent Bar Exam 是一个 knowledge-based exam
． 只做以前的考题是不够的. 象中学政治考试一样，总有一些需要记忆和熟悉的内容
．我有一个朋友借给我一些ＰＬＩ的学习资料，包括很多磁带，我在地铁和汽车上听了
很多遍，在Amazon上买了一本ＭＰＥＰ内容提要和练习，结合做题又看了ＭＰＥＰ的一
些章节．年纪增长，这些东西也不容易记下来了．但是多看几遍，总会有进展．最初的
十来个小时可能会觉得非常枯燥，熟悉了就会觉得还有些意思．

我LD后来又决定不读nursing了，去读finance了。我生化PHD今年年底毕业，现在努力找
工业界的工作，如果到8月还没着落，再同时找postdoc职位。 我今年如果准备考LSAT，
现在准备是不是还来得及？再同时申请明年秋季（或春季？）入学？ 不过我本科的成绩
不好，平均分也就80出头（国内一般大学）。

only working on old exams won't help you much. get some review materials
and read them.
G/T and LSAT are very different from the patent bar exam. there's a book
you much study: MPEP. There's none for G/T or LSAT. |

I have to say that my exam experience is a little weird. For at least 4
cases (including the 1st one), I couldn't get a clear diagnosis (no similar
cases in FA, UW, or kaplan book), and therefore not sure whether I did
history taking and PE right. Didn't finish at least 2 cases, for one no closure at all. One pt got offended by my PE, because I didn't
warn him before I percussed his back (for pulm exam). I felt I messed up 1

I finished step1 exam last week. there was a computer glitch when i finished
block5. i cannot remember the exact content of the error infomation but
click the 'yes' button in the dialogue frame.then it returned to normal
until the end of the exam.I'm not sure whether it will affect the blocks I'

is 100. i felt so bad after the exam that i thought i was going to fail it.
after two weeks' frustrated waiting period, i made 129, enought for my
school.
what confused me is that i still passed it even though i did very bad in the
verbal ability and science. i felt like guessing the answer all the time.
math is very easy. there are lots of chemistry and physics in science
section.
