发帖数: 80 | 1 The MPEP provided at the test is searchable chapter by chapter. You really
do not need to read every chapter to pass the exam, although I did read it.
There were probably three questions I was not sure about and you only need
70% right to pass (I could be wrong with the exact number). If you leave out
some mpep chapters in reading, you might just be a bit slower during the
actual exam.
I do not think you need to read much on interference. |

plus corresponding Audio CD, may be better than the other two. |

practice. The MPEP is not written in logic, along with the patent law. The
first several chapters, 100-700, you will be very frustrated. But stick to
your plan and schedule and plow ahead. Once you get through 700, those
pieces will fall into place and everthing will start making sense. Besides,
if you did not take any patent law courses before, it would take at least a

域工作。 本人H1B, 本科CS， 研究生IS， 对patent比较有兴趣 也想在工作之余能多
普及一下 自己的法律知识。 不过看以下的要求，貌似不能去考patent exam.
还请前辈们多多指教。

能给病人做physical exam，否则有违法之嫌。history taking和review medical
record 是可以的。所以，把physical exam写进LOR有可能有点不妥。当然如果你所在
的州允许，是再好不过了。 |

I don't know if there was any changes this year. When I had the exam: 60
questions/2 hrs and 4 blocks. Total 240 questions. Too much extra time
compared to step 1,2,3. And the questions are very reasonable.
IM was the easiest exam in my life!!!
MKSAP is so far the best books for learning IM esp in your 2nd year. However
, MKSAP is too much for IM board.
We went to Arora review in big New York area. Just like you mentioned, 一个
礼拜的强度化填鸭. Lots of fun.

I chose 12 PM. I usually stay up very late, and get up around 10 AM.
Let me take the exam at 8AM would be a nightmare. I tried to adjust my
schedule before exam, but it is so hard to break the biological clock. |

(70%). I don't have chance to extend it because it has already been extened
once. Don't feel good....
Do I need to cancel the exam, or simply not show up?

1)Q: 喝多少酒才需要问CAGE? A: 12-15 drinks per week. higher number for guys.
So if a man drinks 2 glasses of wine everyday, you don't need to CAGE him.
if he drinks 3, you will need to.
2)Q: 要在opening的时候drape病人么？A: 现在的考试绝大多数病人都是已经draped.
但是要养成习惯，看到没有drape，就要说： let me make you more comfortable, 然
后drape病人。 当然只要physical exam之前drape都是可以的。
3)Q:CS一般多久能出分？从TIMELINE上来讲，一般在9月份递交材料之前什么时候考掉
才能够赶得上，报名的话一般需要多久？

after the exam, I called my friend who is in the nursing program thousand
times. But she did not take my call because she was in vocation. i was like
an ant in the hot brick.after she was back, she told me she had the same
feeling after the exam. but she passed with the exact same score as mine.
another friend of her also got the same score, 129, so strange!!! |
