没有听说因为oregon 州税用了treaty exampt被audit的。
而且学校w2直接给出的都是federal 和state都是免税后的工资。
按照40N或者40 的instruction都是直接用federal的AGI填oregon 的收入的。
哪一点看来都没有oregon 不承认treaty

agent. He/she will have tax liability on the income.
The ruling you cited dose not exampt the agent's tax liability, he will
still need to pay tax on the whole commission, which is reported to IRS by
his company via 1099misc. That is why he will get it back from the home
purchaser.
Do not get me wrong here, using 50% tax rate is too greedy. |

The guy was wrong. The second NO should be YES, and in the back or some
other place of the form, there is a blank for you to fill what that
Exemption is, which should be your hunting license and the # of the license.
This is one of the easiest way to satisfy that "exemption" rule, otherwise
people with non-immigration visa are not allowed to have a gun.
