6月份收到IRS发的信要求提交更多材料包括2009，2010两年报税表复印件、签证页等信
息，他们需要重新审核我的税表，于7月初把材料准备好提交给他们。
昨天收到IRS的回复，需要我补2009，2010两年的税，加上interest及penalty共1万多
。因为他们认为我2009年下半年及2010年不能用Tax Treaty申请免税。
我2007年10月底从国内到美国作J1博后，之前在加拿大做过两年博后。2009年夏天拿到
加拿大移民，因为要到Calgary访问而且9月份转H1B，也就顺便登陆加拿大拿了枫叶卡
并在Calgary拿到3年的H1B美国签证。但之后除了去年去加拿大开过一个会议外从未在
加拿大停留。期间较多地回国内访问、交流。2010年初美国博后转成research
associate，一直到现在。因为有人跟我提过我可以根据Tax Treaty申请三年免税，我
在报2007-2010(一直到10月份)填税表时都申请全免联邦税并已退回。2011年我按照

对于2017年的报税，选择使用nonresident spouse treated as resident,2017年在国
内有收入，用bona fide resident选择foreign earned income excluded，发现报了国
内的收入后即使申请了excluded免税，还是要比海外无收入的情况下多收了上千元的税
，可能是excluded之前的total income变高而税率升高了？
想请教各位版上大神：已经申请了foreign earned income excluded,可否就这部分
income在国内已交的税再同时申请foreign tax credit.还是对于同一部分收入，
foreign earned income与foreign tax credit只能选择其中一个而不能同时都申请？

这东西最初设计的初衷是因为统计里有很多category
variable，但是早起R的string效率低，所以把一个确定集合的string改成一个string
表(也就是levels)和index。factor的实际值全是index，都是整数。

不过editor也应该考虑competitor当reviewer其实也是不公平的。
好像nature总会有意挑一个作者的“敌人”review，其实这样比较严格，也比较可以客
观一点。
俺老板从来不exclude任何人，他觉得exclude reviewer不是科学的态度。
俺通常是要求把competitor 给exclude.
