I was cruising around in my mr2 yesterday, and noticed that the
exhaust became pretty noisy. Pull the car roadside, and
found a 2cmx0.5cm hole in the muffler - I probably hit a stone.
Went to my toyota dealer, and was told that 1) the whole exhaust
system from exhaust manifold back needs to be replaced because the
gaskets are all melt together. that means to replace the primary
and secondary cats, pipes, heat shields, muffler and two tips.

的，马力相差不会很大，顶多是根据不同地区油品和排放要求做的不同调教。
VTEC缩水就缩水在很多VTEC engine上省掉了exhaust side VTEC，而恰恰这个是对高转
马力提升最大的。例如上上代美规Civic Si，当时是为了和Acura RSX拉开差距，这两
辆车上用的K20能差出去40匹马力。但是为了适合越来越严的排放标准，现在基本见不

去了，还看不出来。LC 的买家也不是一般的顾客群，都是要么懂行，要么是真需要可
靠性的
LC 和四颗牙看似共用不少东西，但很多小部件LC 用不锈钢的，四颗牙则和普通车一样
用塑料的。transmission 壳子都一样，里面部件不全一样。Body的焊接工艺也不一样。
大家都知道 exhaust pipe 很容易生锈，LC整套exhaust system 用不锈钢的，昂贵还

As for installation, if you guys are not very handy, I suggest you hire a

1、装抽油烟机：
居然把厨房的废气都排到attic里，那时候刚买房，也不懂。本来还想让他安厕所的
exhaust fan，他说也是排到attic，但是我那天懒得去买fan了，所以没有安。后来才
知道厨房和厕所的exhaust排到Attic很危险，因为会有mold，而且厨房的油在attic里

到Attic，不会排到外面，除非客户特别要求。后来又花钱请人重新安装。

quite a few things. basically the two O2 sensors are giving very similar
readings which triggers an catalytic converter error. It could be one of the
O2 sensors went bad, leaking exhaust manifold, leaking exhaust pipe, bad
catalytic converter .....
Check for leaks first, then if you do not get bad egg smell, it might be the
O2 sensors, or if you do get bad smell, then could be the catalytic
converter.

你说的这种是老式turbo，工作在“pressure mode”， 但现在新式的blowndown turbo
的back
pressure灰常小。

porn了。刚看完新一季第一集，很爽，aventador确实是最接近fighter jet的东西了
。而且最让人叫绝的是exhaust里喷出的蓝色火苗。。。我知道很多超跑切油瞬间会有
少量汽油排到exhaust里蹦个屁打个火花，但绝大多数时候都是稍瞬即逝的，而且一般
不是蓝色。这种能喷一秒钟的纯蓝色火焰，我开始甚至怀疑是后期特效，后来发现是真
的（而且专门装了摄像头去拍它），lambo真是把hyper car做绝了！我猜是换挡时专门
多排油到exhaust，而且用了特别的催化剂造出颜色来。另外跟aventador的单离合档箱
换挡较可能也有关系。最后，in case有人觉得是N2O，aventador没有加N2O的功能，而
且N2O只会增加马力，并不会有喷火效果，N2O喷火跟汽车撞车爆炸一样是好莱坞的视觉
味精，纯属虚构。 |
