But most houses are sold with 2 agents involved though. They are seller's
agent and buyer's agent. They split the comission half and half. The
principle agent is the company, which takes another 30-50% cut from each
agent.
Seller's agent also has marketing expenses, such staging, photography, food
for agents' open houses, and etc. They all come from the Seller's agents.
