我觉得中国现在应该由教育部统一制定一个专门的中英词汇表，对一些专门名词统一英
语翻译，比如各种奖励（三好学生、各种奖学金，名誉称号等等），教职员职称职务等
等，这样比较严肃。。。不像现在大家随便来。。。
台湾还是比较规范的，比如台大专门有个词汇表：

office悲剧的ITIN吧。
早上8点钟到了san jose irs，门前已经有20多人的队伍了，据说最早的6点多就到
了，绝大多数是老莫，三哥三姐老中数名。8点30放人领号码，询问了目的（itin）跟
岳母的visa以后，给了个103的牌号，并被告知需要specialist做review。心想review
就review呗，咱功课做好，材料齐全，并且多年潜水于买买提tax版，从未见任何失败
案例。却不曾想到开创了买买提悲剧的先例。
在苦等4个小时以后，终于等到俺的号码了，马上飞奔过去，心里还想着咱功课做
得好，所有材料一应俱全，连resident test的天数都表格好了，200多天，估计最多10
分钟就OK了吧。推门进去，一白人老太，连忙打个招呼，自以为很幽默的说“真是让
俺苦候多时啊”，并主动递上材料。老太和蔼的结果材料，很熟练的把税表订好，开始
审查岳母的护照。突然间，风云突变，老太表情一转，角色变更为tax expert。开始详

材料/化学/电子方向，国内博士，博后2.5年，现美国20-30名大学博后。
40篇文章，一作10篇，全部英文，IF从2-40左右。一作IF>10的大概6篇左右，合作论文
中有2篇Nature子刊。论文大部分发表在Top 0.1-Top 1%的期刊上(based on total
citations)。在PL中99%的地方在讲第一作者的工作。我觉得讲合作的论文也是可以的
，但懒得去挖掘合作论文中的亮点了。好在第一作者的论文也有很多亮点。
引用：大概2000次左右。合作的论文中有几篇hot topic的文章，单篇引用好几个都在
300+。自己一作文章被引大概300次左右，有一篇100+。一作文章中有一篇被大牛写了
专门的2页highlight评价为“重大进展、重要突破、奇迹、这个领域革命性的成果。。
。”。

trigger(USP elite，expert)，不要说1911，跟sig的da/sa扳机比都有差距。
HK的塑料枪比别家的贵一倍，搞出的产品很让人体会到HK hates you的精神。就拿USP
来说，USP的bore axis比1911高，1911又比XD高0.2寸的样子(XD比glock高０.1寸，
M&P在两者之间)，大伙都明白高bore axis后座枪口跳的厉害吧。
为了减轻后座又弄了个双弹簧，双弹簧把后座能搞出很奇怪的pattern来
(有人说是figure８，有人说是inconsistent muzzle flip and sight
return of the USP)，速射或比赛大忌。做的也不是多耐用，别家坏的地方它还不是这样坏，看看以前为HK打比赛的运动员现在改HK为生的枪匠怎么说的

收到一个同行的email，我所在领域的一个expert突然去世了。他在欧洲。
大概有两年了吧，我们每年参加同一个会议两次，在一个组里。
不到一个月前，我们还在会上一起讨论。没想到那竟然是最后一面。这个消息真的让我
很震惊，也感到非常低落。他死得还太年轻啊（ 具体年纪不详，不超过50岁）。到现
在我还不知他确切的死因， 他人看起来很健康。骑自行车上班，大家都坐车去开会，
他却走路去。
作为行业的expert。我对他一直是尊敬的。他来自我们竞争对手的机构。为了各自的利
益，在上次的会上我曾对他的意见有些针锋相对。但是nothing personal。 希望他能
在九泉之下理解这一点。
人生真是太无常了。最近得知一个朋友，也是我们领域的expert，得了癌症治疗中，才
