flashing,接着一个绿灯，通过之后紧接着一个red light flashing，当时不知道怎么
压根儿没注意。穿了过去，结果后边警灯开始闪烁，停下之后警察问知不知道在red
light flashing那里没有停。当时有点儿紧张，说我真的没注意到。然后警察问我是没
注意到红灯还是注意到了那个red light flashing但是没意识到要停下。我说我真的没
注意到那个红灯在闪。如果注意到了我肯定会停下的。我在stop sign上从来都是full
stop的。不知道怎么回事儿，昨晚真的那一瞬间没有看到那个red light flashing.结
果警察给了张ticket，130刀。
我想去explain一下，大家可否给点儿经验之谈，如何增加成功率。
另外，遇到这种情况，真是无意的，在警察开ticket之前如何和警察沟通，能够让他们
改变主意，减少被开罚单的可能性。

tow away（估计是bus driver request的），但明显这么长时间也没tow away，说明也
不是真的停不进来那种严重。
Admit是肯定的，既然罚单有说明可以explain，怎么说能减轻点处罚？小弟知道错了，
DC也不熟。 |

），要去court。3.Admit with Explanation (DO NOT SEND PAYMENT)，要admit
liability and provide an explanation for the offense, either by mail or at a
walk-in hearing.说了有可能reduce 罚款。
现在就想第三种，by mail的explain以下。希望交少一点。怎么说比较合理？
我的violation details是"Towing requested"。应该是bus driver request，但警察
几个小时也没tow away。所以觉得不是真的太严重。 |

发帖数: 10908 | 50 另外我觉得很多数学老师不一定理解 intuition vs repetitive-trained-memory
的差别。
intuition 基于 memory 但不同于简单的 repetitive memory。
但 intuition 确实是双刃剑，如果永远 intuition 写不下草稿纸，就会成为绊脚石。
但我觉得对付 intuition 的双刃剑，不应该主要靠 explain，而是主要靠 create
need，
也就是增加题目的难度和变化，加上合理速度和正确率，让 naive intuition fail。
同时 present娃各种草稿纸写法，让娃了解但不强求。这样最终 create the need for
beyond intuition。 |
