当你open了一个short position，你拿着futures，必须execute，这个时候如果你没有
股票，你直接做short sell了。如果有股票，最多被call回去。
这里的差别在于，你open short futures position，这个时候是write一个contract，
你execute以后，是short sell，资金量不同，exposion不同。
option你可以割肉，然后rollover，IB就有这样的服务。而且你会在一个比较合适的价
格，因为美国的市场大，market maker会做一个gap，但是总体不会贴水。
中国futures不成熟，加上情绪表现，会贴水，但是贴水还要short，只能说明一个问题
，stock position太大，没有option hedge，也不能close stock long position，只
能short futures to hedge。
单边直接short sell，这个是极其不理智的，伦敦鲸都被搞了，你以为国泰君安是谁啊

发帖数: 876 | 38 首先解释一下自己的背景和找工作的目标。本人烂校CS Ph.D.毕业，Ph.D.期间无工作经验，无Intern经验。目标是在local找一份工作，不求A,M,G，不求高薪，只要能给offer给办H1B就行。
先说说找工作的过程吧：2010年11月开始断断续续的看CRLS。虽然以前上过数据结构和
算法课，不过都快忘光了，基本上是从头学一遍。2011年1月底投出第一份简历。上周
拿到一个offer。还有一个onsite结束后面试官说我是目前的candidate里最好的，很可
能会给offer，但是要等到下周中才有结果。
第一个公司催的紧，而且地理位置很理想，也是我想要的职位，打算从了。花了一个半
月找工作，终于可以划下句号了。
以菜鸟的状态进入本版，这期间得到了版上的很多帮助和
BLESS。谢谢！
找工作的过程中有喜有忧，也有一点小小的心得，和大家分享。希望能对仍在找工作的
同学有点帮助。
先说说我觉得非常有用的资源:
1. 找工作的网站
我把简历放在monster, dice上，另外每天看看indeed。找工作期间一共投了42份简历

3. 面试准备
版上大家都说，不打没把握的仗。如果mitbbs版面总结还有10%以上题(有的说法是20%)
不会或者写代码会有错，面试就是浪费机会。
我进这个版的时候，大概95%的题不会做。现在大概90%的题不会，算法题基本上都不会。
如果你要找的是M,G,A这样的大公司，确实需要做很多题，练熟了再去。
如果只求找份工作，我自己的经验是小公司不那么看重算法。基本概念会，有一定的编
程经验，就可以了。需要准备以下的部分：
a. careercup 150题, 和programming interview exposed
前者尤其重要，不管多强调它的重要性都不过分。后者的每道题都必须做的很熟练。
另外，看careercup的时候，最好能扩展一下。比如smart pointer，career cup上给出
了它的实现；就可以扩展到现在C++里有几种smart pointer(auto_ptr, shared_ptr，
区别和应用, etc)。

第一个公司催的紧，而且地理位置很理想，也是我想要的职位，打算从了。花了一个半
月找工作，终于可以划下句号了。
以菜鸟的状态进入本版，这期间得到了版上的很多帮助和
BLESS。谢谢！
找工作的过程中有喜有忧，也有一点小小的心得，和大家分享。希望能对仍在找工作的
同学有点帮助。
先说说我觉得非常有用的资源:

3. 面试准备
版上大家都说，不打没把握的仗。如果mitbbs版面总结还有10%以上题(有的说法是20%)
不会或者写代码会有错，面试就是浪费机会。
我进这个版的时候，大概95%的题不会做。现在大概90%的题不会，算法题基本上都不会。
如果你要找的是M,G,A这样的大公司，确实需要做很多题，练熟了再去。
如果只求找份工作，我自己的经验是小公司不那么看重算法。基本概念会，有一定的编
程经验，就可以了。需要准备以下的部分：
a. careercup 150题, 和programming interview exposed
前者尤其重要，不管多强调它的重要性都不过分。后者的每道题都必须做的很熟练。
另外，看careercup的时候，最好能扩展一下。比如smart pointer，career cup上给出
了它的实现；就可以扩展到现在C++里有几种smart pointer(auto_ptr, shared_ptr，
区别和应用, etc)。
b. effective c++
这本书很多人说很好，但是我看不进去。推荐下面这两个链接：

发帖数: 186 | 45 先说一下背景：非CS PhD，毕业后三年没有正式工作过，所以给不顺利的兄弟姐妹们打
打气哈！
三年没工作其实很重要的一个原因是不知道自己能找什么样的工作，纯理科PhD，
试着申请过几个行业，完全没有结果。很偶然的机会听朋友说可以转CS，于是决定试试。
看了几本书，第一本是Essential C++，因为从来没用过C++，所以先入门。
估计这里的同学们都可以跳过这本书的。
然后是那本著名的Programming Interview Exposed。
这本书看起来不难，不过一定要自己动手写code。我前前后后写了不下五遍吧。
还有就是Effective C++和网上的C++ FAQ Lite。
对我这种没经验的，这些东西还是很有用的。
准备了两个月，正好一个朋友说M家他可以帮推荐。
其实我没想过申请这样的纯software的公司，不过既然他可以推荐我就试试吧。
很快电面，没怎么问简历上的东西，因为我真的没什么相关经验。
然后就一很简单的coding题，我写得还不错，各种情况都考虑到了，也没有出错。
然后问了一些技术问题，马上就看到我的盲点了，不过对方好像不是很在意，

java 没有struct keyword, 但是java 里面struct 可以通过两种方式来实现，
1. setter/ getter
2. public memeber variable
hibernate mapping的是structs, 而不是class,
如果自己要写的struct直接用public variable更方便 |

Withdraw了ebay的onsite，别的好多电面都fail或者没有消息
电面：
Amazon两个：面得太早，具体想不起来了，code题不多。问怎么从某种格式的log file
里抓出想要的信息，简单的regular expression 和perl scripts, 问一些如果server
有问题怎么trouble shooting的开放问题。
Linkedin 两个：
1 binary tree level order traversal, leetcode原题
2 pow(x,2) leetcode原题
3 判断一个string表示的数字是否valid，类似leetcode Valid Number原题，一些具体
要求要和面试官讨论后确定
4 permutation I and II leetcode原题
Facebook一个：
