可是我的理解
工作一旦丢了H1b立刻失效
换工作还得transfer挺麻烦
而OPT ext的话可以再延17个月
中间即使失业或者跳槽手续都很简单
所以感觉起来似乎OPT ext更灵活一点？
请教我的想法是不是很幼稚？
为啥该选H1b呢？

可以申eb1b么。（目前不知道eb1b够格不）
好像又有讲究是opt ext之后再申eb1b比较保险，不然连opt ext都延不了。问题是opt
期间申了eb1，是不是就不能申h1b了？或者再等等明年的h1b抽签？如果再不中呢不
是要滚蛋了么。。

校报告了新的工作，但忘记报告旧工作截止，现在opt ext正在审，看号码貌似就这几
天就审到了，要不要向学校汇报前一份工作的截止？
确切的说，前一个工作不是正式工作，而是个挂靠。
汇报的话，怕有变动，反而引起注意被查。
不汇报的话，怕查到之后opt ext被拒。

我今年1月份已经拿到了17个月的OPT STEM Extension(也就是在新版规定出来之前拿到
的), 我也不需要另外7个月的extension.
但是, 我这OPT stem extension是用的contractor申请的. 这个contractor貌似在OPT
ext的老规矩下是OK, 但是貌似在新规定下, 就不行了.
我的问题是, 那我这种contractor, 是老人用老规矩(毕竟我申请和批准的时候, 还是
老规定), 也就是理论上, 我还可以接着做我的contractor.
还是我也必须马上找到符合OPT ext新规定的工作, 要不然我就违法了, 甚至以后申请
绿卡也有潜在风险???
如果有一点意见, 就请指教一二吧. 谢谢了! |

1. 目前OPT 8.2过期，新的OPT-EXT EAD已拿到，生效日期8.3.2014---1.2.2016。我应
该是新OPT-EXT EAD 8.3生效以后再file申请，还是现在随时可以file了？好像也不急
这几天，但想了解一下。
2. 如果I-140通过，我和LD同时提交485，765，131 这是最安全的方式吗？是不是要等
485 也approve了，我才可以用485EAD开始工作，而之前绝对不要用 485EAD和AP？
3. LD今年H1B刚抽中，10.1才生效，我们如果可以在10.1之前提交485对他的状态有影
响否？在485批准前他用H1B工作都没有问题吧？
