目前身份是H1B，明年八月六年h1B过期， HR说final I-94 date 是明年10月份（这里
其实有点疑惑，H1B难道不是没有grace period， 为啥多出来两个月，希望有高手解答
一下）。 Anyway，根据HR的date我是可以依照law AC21来extend我的h1B的。理想状态
当然是h1b 过期前绿了，我的问题是，如果不幸没有绿，是用EAD来工作，还是申请H1B
的extention，两者有啥区别没？希望有经验的高手解答一下，拜谢 |

老公非叫我读Harvard extention school,说离家近，
我的犹豫是就修几门课值得多花钱读H 吗？好挣扎啊！由于是转专业，还不知道h 这个

马英九指出，这个法庭的存在，应该是为国际争端定纷息争、避免走上冲突甚至战争。但是，这样的仲裁结果，不但没有排难解纷，反而增加了冲突的可能。「在背後操控的势力，看似赢了面子，其实却输了裡子。」
「菲律宾对中国」南海仲裁案，常设仲裁法院今天公布结果，称中国大陆在9段线范围内主张的历史权利没有法律依据，而南沙群岛的所有海上地物，均为礁岩，包括太平岛在内。
马英九晚间在脸书发文表示，从去年12月到今年5月，包括他在内，150多名部会首长、国内外学者专家和国内外媒体，都访问太平岛，亲眼见证这个淡水充裕（南沙唯一）、农产丰富、生活机能完整的岛屿，完全符合「联合国海洋法公约」第121条关于「岛屿」必须「维持人类生存与自身经济生活」的要件。

我就是的~~我是原来的OPT是7月16日过期，extention application 是在7月10号寄到
的~~问过了，原OPT过期后有6个月的时间可以等待extention，但如果一旦extention被
拒，就立即身份被取消了~
我已经在8月20号拿到extention的EAD卡了~~感觉比OPT的处理时间要短~~ |

4天时间。。因为中间有个周末。。。
现在water bill 下来了。。。有点高 。。估计是原来contract的时间前有次漏水事件
。。但是 waterbill 的时间 也包括了 10天closing后的时间。。
现在的问题是。。我觉得应该卖家出钱。。但是卖家agent说 。因为给我了1天的
contract extention。。没有收罚款。。所以好像给我了一个人情。。所以好像这个
waterbill 应该我来出。。
我不知道。。extention是不是要收罚款。。还有这个extention算是个人情吗？ |

1。确认J1 Status （DS2019）有6个月以上的有效期，如不满6个月，需要延期。我的
情况是还有4个月，在申请前延长到了3个月。这个申请延长的手续各个学校不同，大概
在1周到3周之间。应当尽快办理。

发帖数: 10854 | 37 title,visa和工资是相互关联的. 你的H1 visa在发给你的时候就已经规定了你的title
和未来的工资(包括来源和每年的涨幅等等),所以对这些东西的任何改变都相当于违反
了原H1 visa的condition,所以需要重新申请visa.
这里面还牵扯到一个funding的问题,如果你的工资来源于NIH funding,你要改变工资
level会受到NIH相关条款限制,具体我也没搞明白,总之我当初被告知,只有工作整自然
年的时候才能改动,比如,你是2008年10月20号开始打工,只有之后某年的10月20号才能
给你涨工资level.
新visa的申请又依赖你的新offer以及与之相关的工资level,所以这里头是个鸡和蛋的
问题.
因为我是11月开始工作,申请的时候是去年四月份,如果完全follow NIH规定,我必须等
到11月才能得到promotion.
当时我们学校的解决方案是:
1. 使用我的毕业时间而不是开始工作时间来argue NIH的规定. 成功, 于是我的
promotion预期将在7月1号生效,而不用等到11月;

紀政說，為什麼一個曾任中華奧會組長的人，會這麼做，對於民主的程序，他應該要去
