发帖数: 6 | 1 看上一个区的房子，builder 当年建房的时候， 在exterior dry wall and
insulation 上除了点岔子（具体不清楚）。几年以后builder 意识到当年的差错可能
导致房子生mold （据说还没有真的有report 说有mold）， 所以对整个小区的绝大多
数房子replace exterior dry wall and insulation.
我们看上的这个房子不在builder 重新翻修之列。但现任房主说他们为了求安心，自己
花6K刀作了部分的 replacement of exterior dry wall and insulation， 然后又用2
-10 warranty 叫builder 完成了剩余的 replacement.
我们担心的问题有两个：
1）为什么现任房主要自己花6K去做一部分，而不是直接利用warranty 找builder 来做；
2）不知道他自己做的部分质量如何。现任房主说自己是 professional builder，但不
愿出示任何证明来说明资质 （不知道是因为现在他们手上还有另一个offer，而对我们

我自己做一次全面exterior detailing的计划蓄谋已久。按我的性格，第一是一定要做
的彻底（完美主义者），第二必须能纯手工做，不用买工具（小农），第三是效果一定
要持久（懒人）。经过长期研究，发现要彻底清洁车体得用claybar，要纯手工就用液
体蜡替代品，效果要持久还得用sealant。经过多方准备，昨天终于完成了。搞了四个
小时，相当累，但是效果也相当惊人！
器材：mothers california golden claybar，Klasse all-in-one, Klasse sealant，
圆形applicator pad，四块干净、干燥的microfiber布。
步骤（每项均包含车体，排气管，轮毂，车灯和车窗）：

in MA?
We are remodeling our house and trying to build a sliding door facing our
deck. Our house has a front door, a door for the basement. This sliding door
will be the 3rd exterior door locating at the rear.
The inspector from the town came and left a note that the sliding door is
too small. The door is measured as 5 feet in width and 8 feet in height. The

我自己在broan的catalog里查了下：
对于 exterior blower：Sone levels are typically half of comparable CFM
internal blowers.
我没有找到相应的900cfm的，找到了600和1200的：
E6430SS：Sones at high speed for Internal 600–13.5 max
E6448TSS：Sones at high speed for Internal 1200–14.5 max
我取了中间值：14 sones 再除以2：7 sones，比他告诉我的高了点。
我原来以为是乘40，所以我说200分贝，现在看来不是乘40，那我也不知道怎么算了 |

价位的房子，在exterior的材料上好像有不少区别。光是种类，现在就已经看到过
Vinyl，Partial-Brick，Aluminum Trim，还有Partial-Wood，而且从价位上看，似乎
价位较高，且比较新的房子，大部分注明都是Partial-Brick。想请教版上的xdjm们，
这个材料和价格的高低有很大关系吗？有没有什么材料是比较好的，算是对房子的一种

工具混凝土阶梯上打洞；2）不好看（exterior）。我们本来也要做（原Insurance公司
要求），问过几家老中装修的。 |

预算低于5万。
倾向explorer or F150。full size suv太高难进车库。
问手下Technicians,所有人反对explorer，说质量太差，不停的修，过早报废，外号
exploder，所有建议都是F150，说run forever。
做了一些调查，我在康州西部，附近dealer价钱都太虚，我也不喜欢讨价还价。最后看
到100里外的imperialcars（波士顿附近）价格还行，明码标价，估计明天就去提车。
