× 第一次，加州百年不遇的下起了雨（每年只有10天左右下雨），前两天天气大好就

policies of the past…” But let’s have a look at what the real failed
policies of the past are:
The War on Poverty.
According to the Census Bureau, in 1966 the poverty rate was 11.8%. It has
remained in a range between 8.7% and 12.3% for the last 46 years. Fail.
Giving money to people with no strings attached does not eliminate poverty.

早上6点起来，过去一看排队了6，7个。只有一个黑人考官，年龄四五十。她选择先上
大路转，如果fail掉，就不考parallel parking.看见前面几个都没有到parallel就下
来了，fail掉。到我，跟她morning了下，没吭声，表情很严肃。主要失败的地方是，
叫我到前面路口左转，我打了左转向灯，然后左后方truck离我很近，也没有让我的意
思，结果开过了那个路口，考官很生气，fail掉。
我感觉我下回再考，如果还遇到这个黑人老女人，肯定要fail。
居然问我车是不是我的，除了看保险。可能我看起来年龄比较小。我还给她看了Title.

但是我第一次复习时间太短，nbme倒是做了，结果连400都没到。
第二次也没复习太久，但是是仔仔细细看了kaplan notes 3遍。
做了uw两遍再去考。当然成绩还是不太好，只有84.
说来说去，还是时间花得不够。如果我能把kaplan notes看过20遍，估计考95以上没问
题。还有一点就是我阅读速度慢也是原因。
人生自古谁无fail，只是先fail与晚fail
想开点，等将来做医生了，谁还记得当年的fail |

发帖数: 1808 | 24 驾校教练强调过几次不要在baltimore city考。考官不nice，而且设计好多陷阱让你不
能考，或者fail。
对自己技术比较自信，所以没有听建议，还是在city考了。算上我一共3两车都是5米内
fail。
起步几米就左转，转后2条lane。觉得紧靠边转，应该是走里面的lane。眼见前面2车，
拐过弯就停了，然后考官开车回停车场。老婆去问考官，怎么回事，人家不理。
轮到我，跟着大家的路线拐弯，然后被叫停。发现两条lane是双黄线隔开的！我自己在
逆道上，当场fail。当时明白了，前面几个人都是fail了，而且和我原因一样。
如果我是第一个考试的还好，也许仔细看看。前面两辆车过去，我就跟着traffic了，
结果...
不知道我又没有害了后面的人？也不知道有多少人有类似的经历？
写出来给要考驾照的人提个醒吧 |

发帖数: 20 | 30 8月18号知道CS fail后，马上报名第二次已经到了12月份，成绩要在2月初出来，请问
同道知情人如何能避免让program director 知道你CS fail，而认为你还在CS 考试的
准备阶段呢，不过是成绩出来的晚一些（step 1 and step 2 ck passed already）。
自己的想法是不require USMLE transcript in ERAS application, 但又想这样可能会
导致你的报名材料不完善而没有了面试机会。另一种情况是如果require USMLE
transcript in ERAS application， 那上面可能会显示CS fail的结果，而导致根本就
没有面试机会。
感觉有点左右为难，所以请热心朋友或有过相似经历的朋友指点指点，这次CS fail 的
结果就是自己闭门造车的结果，所以希望不要再犯类似的错误，在这里，先向大家道谢

这些银行绑架，所以最终不得不为这些银行的烂账坏账买单，分摊到纳税的那一小部分
美国人身上。
土工与中国的关系是同样的道理。而且土工深深知道这个道理，所以从一开始就坚持一
裆专政，为的就是把饼做大，然后就too big to fail了，任谁一提民主，政改，就用

Russia's first interplanetary mission in over 15 years has failed after
launch due to an engine mishap that prevented the unmanned spacecraft from
being sent on its proper course toward Mars. The craft – dubbed Phobos-

behind: so slow that another left turn vehicle behind us complete the turn
before us.
情况是这样：T字路口， 带stop sign 左转。停足3秒钟后，因为有一大树遮住视线，
看不清过来的车流，于是我缓慢前进，一边走一边观察，直到看清过来车流，确认安全
后再加速转弯。于是 so slow，failed。
当时stop sign停车时候，后面有辆大卡车，在我转弯过去后，它加速超过了我。
在教练指导下，这个路口左转练习过不下5次，没有出过任何问题。
考官是菲律宾女人，整个考试过程5分钟，没有多讲一句话，没有口头解释fail原因，
刷刷写了comment给我关门走了
下来和教练讨论，觉得没有犯错
难道是菲律宾考官在向我发泄国际仇恨？

在休士頓旅行，開朋友的Camry，超過130K miles的老車。hwy上以70-75速度在中間車
道，覺得有點飄。右前方的皮卡沒打燈忽然變道，我在他盲點上。剎車都來不及了，因
為皮卡的車尾已經掃過來。我只有抓穩方向盤偏左，想避讓到左道快車lane. 好在電光
火石間下意識偏頭看了一下盲點，發現左道有SUV，馬上又往右打回一點，車晃了一下
。最後形成3輛車在兩條道上並行，我被夾在中間開在線上，離左右兩邊的皮卡和SUV各
有不到一尺。坐副駕駛的朋友已經驚叫起來了。我只有把穩方向盤不讓車有任何偏移，
同時慢踩剎車，讓兩邊車在3秒內超過我，然後等到機會轉回正道。 過後坐我旁邊的朋
友臉都青了。。。
當時我開車的時間加起來連50小時都沒有，不到4小時的高速經驗。 的確險過剃頭。過
後我最慶幸的是我當年是在大城市考路考，考官特別嚴格fail了我幾次，我failed過之
後就特別注意諸如看盲點之類的細節。 如果這次我不是下意識在轉道前看左邊盲點，
肯定就撞上不死也重傷了，而且是在高架橋，撞擊後翻下橋都有可能。

chaine上有个洞，漏机油。
problem:
can not due lof because timing chain has worn hole in timing cover engine
making noise

去年我是在另外一家车检的，他当时就说我车头灯太暗，我买了一个东西清洁就让过了
。他提到过漏机油，但是没有说这个会导致fail。然后我去了一个中国修车店去清理了
一下机油，他说清理一下就可以了，然后花了两百元清理。
今年这个车检的比较严格，说的很严重。请问这种情况我应该怎么办？我可不可以去清
理一下机油，再去以前车检的那家？今年车检的这家会不会在dmv上留下记录，然后别
的店就不给我车检？ |
