本着实验的目的，我试了它们的big bertha driver, fairwood, and iron.当然它们的
新产品是X-series< 什么x460 driver/x hybrid 和x-hot fairwood, x-18 iron.
Mizuno也有新iron产品推出，Forged mp 32/60/67的外形依然很酷，新产品包括mx-19,
mx-25和mx-900。第一个击出的球是用mp67 ,相当不错，然后发现shaft 是x100, 超级
硬的shaft，我的挥杆速度更本用不了x100。mx-19应该是以前的mx-17的改进版，mx25
是mx23的改进版，我猜想，简单试了一下。
在下来是nike 的产品了。与其它品牌的工作人员不同，这里派出的是一年青帅哥和一
美女。它的新产品有cci iron set和juice 312球外，sasquash在市面上已经1年了，门
前人不多。iron set还是pro combo, slingshot oss, ignite iron hybrid |

的记忆力，我一一都回忆起来了，甚至还有价格。
写在这里，纪念一下。
2004年5月 第一套球具 taylormade 200 iron+graphite shaft, $350， 当然还有一个
球包，driver, putter，来自于ebay, 后来iron以$120卖出，driver，putter送人，还
留着球包
2004年11月，第一根5 wood, nike t40, 来自于ebay，$80 后来讲该球杆送人
2005年3月，一套titleist 675.mb iron set, titleist 975 driver and fairwood,
以及56/52度wedge， $580，记不清楚了，后来全部卖到。
2005年10月，一套taylormade 320 stiff shaft iron, $200, 后来卖掉；
2005年12月或者什么时候，cleveland 460 comp driver, 一根cleveland launcher 3
fairwood ,后来卖掉

the hybrid.
pure irons, wedge, 9, 8, 7 and 6 are good enough for ladies.even for current
ladies #1, Lorena is using hybrids to replace her 4, 3 irons.
(i like all of my irons (from pw to 3 iron) thinking to have a ping i5 2
iron now. (hate fairwoods!)
for ur budget, i would recommend cobra's ladies combo could be an option if
you want to have a new set.

发帖数: 1618 | 18 买杆最怕你这种想法。便宜杆也能打出高手，但是好杆可以缩短你学习的进程。初学者的
话可以去E-BAY上看看有没有合适的2手杆，一般7，8成新，不用换GRIP的就可以考虑。个
人认为CALLAWAY X-14是的比较好的选择，很FORGIVING。运气好应该200-300买到一套比
较新的2手杆，然后加上PUTTER， FAIRWOODS， DRIVER， WEDGE， BAG基本上500左右。
或者在COSTCO有GOLDEN BEAR的套杆，包括从PUTTER 到DRIVER全齐，还带BAG。你只要再
添1-2根WEDGE就行了。是JACK NICKLUS出品的，设计应该是不错的。200-300左右吧。

Worthy of mentioning it, say, my pw-6, 5 distance could be as same as a pro,
but it doesn't mean it's the same thing for my driver/fairwoods.

and what's wrong with 6 iron?
u know, at pro shops, they normally give the 6 iron for demoing.
and i don't agree that.. here u mentioned:
don't touch long irons unless u 're in the low 80s.
Soundviews mentioned it's highly possible that guys who start to play at their
20s and 30s never break 80s.
so , for this guy, including me, it seems he won't have the chance using the long irons forever. |

发帖数: 10701 | 21 过去的两天在Ralegh, NC出差。 周一的下午下班后，hotel 只有treadmill, 最不喜欢
treadmill. 按耐不住，查了个距离hotel很近的golf course去打球。
因为什么都没带，手套，球，鞋，更别说球杆了，想想就租吧。 结果拿到了一套很
crappy king cobra,什么driver, fairwood, iron set, putter,买了一盒 nike mojo
球。
天已晚，没什么热身，直接奔tee box.
第一个hole, 420 yards par 4,眼瞧着球一个slice飞进旁边的driving range，看看
driver,苦笑一下，$2 没了， 心里还嘀咕着，我已经很久没slice了。
第二个hole,同样的tee shot,同样的，球飞入丛林。怒了，放弃driver.
接下来全用3 woods tee shot, hit 5/5 fairaway with averaged 240 yards distance.
iron set 也不同， shaft too soft, But they worked well fo |

该球场是一个近5800 YARDS PAR 68的 9 HOLE球场。
挺起来挺酷吧，实际上LAYOUT了9个HOLE， 但双重TEE BOXES，这样从不同的TEE 打2遍
就是个18 HOLES球场。
维护的还不错，应该也算比较难的，除了每个PAR4 PAR5 都不长外。
我都是用4 IRON TEE OFF。 租来的DRIVER AND FAIRWOODS太不好用。
最后，我们每人付了380的GREEN FEE， 120的租用费和最后50的小费。
还跑出去买了60的球。
建议各位GOLFER出门怎么也把球，手套，TEE等带上，即使带不成球杆。 |

am curious why the steel shaft is still being made. I barely see anybody
uses it.
graphite shaft provides more flexilibity, like the kick point is easy to
change, weight can be adjusted, so does the flex.
really i don't know if the steel shaft can have the same charactiersitcs as
the graphite. Some heavy powerful guys might still use the steel shaft. just
my specutation. |

发帖数: 10701 | 28 昨天和今天的2轮里，开始改变挥杆的节奏，基本上是backswing节奏不变，downswing
加速。
效果不是一般的明显。 今天在另外一个7000码的球场上，有微风， 天气预报说是10
mph， 在顶风时也有280码以上的距离，几个顺风的全在300码左右，2个downwind,
downhill的还有360嘛左右的距离，使得450码的par 4 也变成 driver + wedge.
特别是今天下午这轮，非常非常solid的ball ——striking， 4个par 5, 最短是510嘛
，但是顶风和huge elevated green， driver+3 woods和基本上能达到。
有一个560码的par 5, 顺分，开球后又240码到果岭，我打出最solid的fairwood，结果
是近2码短了，球落水里
现在在换我fairway woods的shaft， 换好后，我希望我的各个球杆，特别是woods &
driver,分配会更平衡了。

我现在也是差不多的15度3 wood用的最多。反而driver距离不比3 wood远，比较郁闷。
可能要考虑买10。5度的3wood的driver了。460cc越来越不习惯。

and 3H. I tried a Adams ideal tech v3 2 hybrid (17degree loft),but didn't
feel comfortable with it (the club is good, my swing is not consistent yet).
A Pro suggests me to grab a 4 fairwood (17 loft) in my bag. I guess some
clubs with 16-17 degree loft sound like the a good option :)

fairwood. I have a 13 taylormade R9 before, but normally use it to tee off.
I am thinking to have a titlest 910FD 17 in my bag. Titlest really makes
fantastic clubs. The driver (910d2 9.5) that I got from my GF is a ball
bomber. 300+ is the order of day if hit solidly. |
