percent of homes for sale in San Francisco - mostly in southern
neighborhoods, including Bayview-Hunters Point.
The median price of a house in the city in 2010 was $668,000. Just 2 percent
of new housing units built in the city since 2001 are single-family,
detached homes.

我找FAMILY CARE的时候有3个来源。
1. GOOGLE + CITY NAME + FAMILY CARE/DAY CARE
2. 加州政府的RESOURCES AND REFERRAL SERVICE
3. CRAIGSLIST
用1找到一部分FAMILY CARE后，我就开始打电话。主要关注2个问题，
一，他们是否有LICENSE，而，他们是否有2个OPENINGS。就一家家面试
去了。大约面试了4-5家。通过和他们的交流，知道了一些信息。比如
说有LICENSE也未必保证他们一定是好的FAMILY CARE。因为加州只有在
拿到LICENSE前的检查比较严格，拿到后，只有换地址或者有人举报时候才
会来查了。但是如果加入了加州的什么NUTRITION PROGRAM，因为加州
政府要倒贴钱给他们，所以他们一年会来几次抽查。这样更能保证他们的
服务。有一家说，没有人会不愿意拿免费的钱，除非那家FAMILY CARE
有猫腻。（当然，她的话有些偏执，因为我后面面试的一家说有些家长
不太喜欢政府的人，大意是说政府的人也会去骚扰家长问卷调查啥的。

我一开始找FAMILY CARE的原因，是因为想着我9月开学回学校，白天也不可能看着父母
照看小孩。没有办法，对父母照看小孩还是不放心，尤其是他们自己主意又多，又从不
肯听我们的。所以很早就计划不要父母带小孩了。我家娃2个月大的时候，我就一直在
找保姆和FAMILY CARE/DAY CARE。后来我妈妈因为面瘫，回国治疗了，我们就提前送小
孩去FAMILY CARE了。我一个朋友说，如果3岁以前一定要送出去，最好送FAMILY CARE
，生病少一些，而且得到的ATTENTION会多一些。我又看看我们这里的FAMILY CARE，还
比较便宜，我的奖学金也可以COVER 2个娃，这样也不会增加我们太多额外的负担。我
也考虑过找保姆，一是我们这里中国保姆找不到，而且我LG说他才不喜欢还要去LA或者

1：在找FAMILY CARE之前，你一定要明确你的需要是什么。我那时
有点本末倒置。一味想着小孩有规律生活，而没有意识到我们当时最需要
的其实是喂养。这样就意味着，我们需要找HELPER多一点的FAMILY CARE，
这样才会有足够的人手帮忙，给予我家娃时间来吃东西和BURP。
2：FAMILY CARE最好找LICENSED，没有LICENSED就像完全没有保险
一样，有LICENSED，至少是有点保险。
3：一定要和FAMILY CARE的人面试，问她/他各种问题，她的教育背景，
她的FAMILY CARE开了多少年，照顾了多少小孩啊，碰到XXX小孩问题时候，
她怎么解决，她如何MULTI-TASKS等等（根据自己要求问问题就是）另外
还要在小孩在那里的时候去参观一下，看看小孩都在做什么，孩子们是不是
开心的，还是说呆滞的，自己玩自己的。。。。我选中第一家的时候，在她
的OPERATION HOUR时候去过两次。小孩都蛮听话的，不吵不闹，有和人

Living room比family room 大，长方形的房间，有fireplace，房间的窗户都比较小，
不是很亮堂。
Family room跟厨房打开，有一个落地门通后院，比较亮堂， 但是比living room要小

option1： living room继续做living room，可是跟family room紧挨着的living room

我跟老公去年7月搬到这里，12月28日去做annual physical check。老公的保险是100
％ coverage within network; 80％ coverage out of network, plus 500
deductible per person。
两个人的常规检查而已，2月收到账单，加起来要1100多。
先打电话给health insurance company，说是因为out of network了（500＋500＋20％
＝1100多）。但是我们去之前确定了，当场也确定了，是within network的，一番艰难
沟通，保险公司说Waltham Family Medicine bill错了，用的是"Newton Wellesley
Ambulatory Services"的名义——这个诊所在Newton Wellesley Hospital里面租的房

Family Plan到期以后 不要重新签约 转成月付制的计画
不要在Family Plan 到期之前搞 因为如果电话号码转换出去
Family plan会自动结束 没有到期的话 会被收early termination fee
在Family plan 结束前 可以在网路找好手机的deal
我以前买了三支Motorola 的手机 每只都是$25 免运费还送$25 air time
买到手机 等到Family Plan 结束后 启用 拿个新号码
不用加钱 可以三个月有效 用新手机打电话给TOGO服务中心
免费不收Air time. 然后跟他们说你要transfer number
他们会登记一些个人资料 然后你要设定一个密码
一切顺利的话 一个星期之内就可以转换号码
号码转换以后 在Togo 手机上测试好 就可以加值到一百块拿金卡会员
每年只要加值一次 就可以一直保持你的号码

，但是因为listing太少，找了一年没有结果，加上每个月交着1600左右的房租住在
downtown，所以有些打算先在downtown（也是很好学区）先买一个价位在30来万左右的
、约900sqft的1bedroom或者2bedroom的condo或者town house作为过渡房，估计需要付
6万多的down payment，贷个25万左右的款，自己一边住着一边还贷款。
同时继续关注的另外一个好区的single family house（估计要60-70万左右的总价），
等买到合适的single family house（估计首付得26万左右，贷款40万左右），就搬到
sigle family house，把condo/town house出租（估计能租到至少1400-1500每月的租
金，但是HOA每月300-400左右）。
这样就把过度房专为投资房了，自己住single family house了。各位对房子熟悉的朋

家庭是由婚姻，血缘或收养关系所组成的社会组织的基本单位。家庭有广义和狭义之分
，狭义是指一夫一妻制构成的单元；广义的则泛指人类进化的不同阶段上的各种家庭利
益集团即家族。 从社会设置来说，家庭是最基本的社会设置之一，是人类最基本最重
要的一种制度和群体形式。（社会设置，即组织起来满足一个社会基本需要的社会结构
丛）从功能来说，家庭是儿童社会化，供养老人，性满足，经济合作，普遍意义上人类
亲密关系的基本单位。从关系来说，家庭是由具有婚姻、血缘和收养关系的人们长期居
住的共同群体。
家庭移民
家庭可以定义得很大，但在家庭移民的办理过程，家庭是个特定的称谓。移民中，
Family包括两类，
第一类是Immediate Relative （IR)，IRs没有排期，没有移民名额限制。
IR包括以下几种情况，公民的配偶和未成年子女，绿卡持有者在海外旅行出生的子女。

在想和另外几个人搞一个iPhone的family plan，属于加进去的line, 但保持号码不变
。上周在ATT store pre-order了一个iPhone4，还没寄到，但是看网上帐户信息，我的
line截止日变成了pre-order那天起算的两年以后, 其他人的line还是最近几天。现在
新plan所有人的iPhone都还没寄到，都还在原先自己的plan里面。不知道到时候停原先
family plan的时候，若iPhone还没寄到，我的line算是一个什么状态？是等于续两年
原先的plan然后再transfer？可是family plan需要至少两条线才能维持。是等于先
transfer到individual plan？(因为pre-order的时候签的iPhone合同是这样写的，不
过时间是从原plan截止日的半个月后开始)可是为什么原先的family plan 帐号截止日
又变了且不等同于individual plan的两年后？而且之后要改到新的family plan， |

1、我对Family板一直以来的期望是温馨互助，友善讨论，例如00-02年间的本版气象；
