辆7.7到期，一辆7.27到期。Farmers按新的地址给的quote两辆车半年$900+，Costco一
样的coverage只要$500+，所以决定换保险。但是问题是Costco两辆车要有同样的开始
时间才能享受discount，所以不知道怎么解决这个20天的gap比较好。在网上查了一天
考虑了如下选项，请高人指点一下：
Option 1：renew Farmers insurance for the 1st car now and then buy Costco
insurance for both cars starting 7/27; after Costco insurance is finalized,
cancel Farmers insurance for the 1st car starting 7/27.
Problem：网上对cancel Farmers insurance的complaints特别多，集中在退还的

公司来要钱，说没付今年的费用。另一中国人，房子是farmers的保险，几年前山上邻
居乱改建房子结果房子塌了把这个中国人和其他两家人的房子埋了，farmers硬是说是
自然灾害不保，另外两家人用其他保险公司的，给赔了。
GEICO我以前用，后来买新车，要QUOTE，明明是两辆车在同一家，新车还要收700多，
QUOTE另一家，单独一辆新车也才500多，而且liability是选最高的，如果两辆车在这
家保险公司一共也才700多。
nationwide同事推荐过，但是他是老客户了，所以便宜，新客户还是比较贵的。据说服

farmers太荒谬了. 刚给我的保险涨了50%. 说去年7月有车祸. 那时我被别人追尾, 是
别人的错.别人公司理赔了. 我把去年别人公司承认理赔的信转给farmers.
结果, farmers换了理由, 说涨价是因为我07年和08年的3个ticket. 这个我承认是我的
ticket.
可是,2007,2008年的ticket用来涨2010年的保费? 还恭喜我lucky说farmer现在才check
record, 所以明年我就可以重新用good driver discount了.

我去了两家bodyshop估计，一个2000， 一个2300. 网上说 Farmers 的agent会给你
offer一个大概估价一半的check， take it or get nothing？
准备跟Farmers Agent 打电话，有什么要注意的。
请大家指导指导。

新车，俩人开，都是两年不到的美国驾龄,新手刮蹭多，没房，只买车险
目前用state farm，renewal报价从300+涨到600+，去年底有个claim（事故），今年初
有个claim（collision），不过今年出的claim报了之后决定不修了，所以claim
amount是0
coverage:
1）貌似是州最低规定
bodily injury 20K/40K
property damage 15K(这个就是大家说的unisured property?)
uninsured motor vehicle bodily injury 20K/40K，就是uninsured motorist?
2）想要的
100 deductible collison
3）拿不准的
500 deductible comprehensive，感觉用处不大
medical payment 5K，感觉用处不大
underinsured motorist 20K/40K，搞不清是干嘛的
