state farm的agent说如果我能找一个驾龄长，没有事故记录的朋友，把他的名字加到
我保险里，可以降低保费。
我比较担心的是，万一我开车出了事故，会不会影响到我朋友的记录和他自己的保费？
agent跟我说不影响，如果是我开车，claim的时候只会有我的名字，但还是心里没底……
请问有没有人有过这种经验？

replacement value based not actual cash value based. That's why it's more
expensive. Try ask for name-peril and ACV coverages, It may reduce your
premium.
State Farm is the largest insurer in the world. It seems you live near
Huston area, which is subject to Hurricane losses. If your policy is open-
peril and it covers HU, your premium is about average. |

houston, not close to the coast line and I couldn't understand why state
farm premium is more than double of rates people living close by are paying
with full coverage.

不过，它家的房屋保险高出太多了。去年，跟StateFarm联系的时候，我即使要加入ADT
计划（至少35刀/月服务费），拿到StateFarm的Security discount之后，再提高
Reductionable 500刀，还是无法跟我原来的home insurance 匹配。 |

LZ可以多quote几家，然后拿别人的quote去压state farm的价。
