注意两点：
1、将原数据转移到其他分区，格式化后再拷贝回来；
2、格式化窗口中，格式化类型选择“FAT32”。
系统所在分区NTFS格式的转换要麻烦得多，下面是笔者从实验中得到的方法：
一、硬盘分区表恢复法
由于在硬盘分区表的lc2h、ld2h、le2h、leeh位移处存放的是四个分区的格式类型，
因此可以利用KV3000、Disk Cenius等工具软件备份、恢复硬盘分区表的方法来恢复(注意
：必须在FAT32转换为NTFS格式之前备份硬盘分区表)。具体步骤如下：
1.KV3000备份、恢复
在FAT32格式下进行备份。将KV3000密钥盘引导系统，键入KV3000/b，回车，插入一
张干净的软盘，按Y键，硬盘分区表数据hdpt.dat即刻备份至该软盘。要恢复NTFS为FAT32
格式，将KV3000密钥盘引导系统，键入KV3000/hdpt.dat，回车，硬盘分区表信息恢复至
硬盘中，重启即可格式化了。
2.Disk Genius备份、恢复
具体方法如下：运行Disk Genius，“工具”菜单下选取“备份分区表” |

一直对NTFS没啥好感，系统一死就啥都读不出来了。新装的机器想装XP和Vista双系统，
XP用FAT32，Vista用NTFS，再加一个程序盘用FAT32。安装XP的时候给了C 100G，发现只
能格成NTFS，用98和2000的盘尝试也未果。最后发现XP有个32G的限制，不得已把C分了
32G，剩下68G没分配。顺利装完系统之后发现在XP里还是没法把超过32G的盘格成FAT32
，传说中的升位补丁也找不到，用磁盘管理和PQMagic 8.0均未果。尝试用PQMagic把预
留的68G跟C的32G合并，重启后无法启动了。。。
现在的硬盘动不动就是500，600G，难道就只能用NTFS了吗？有谁在大硬盘上还用超过3

in D:, u have to keep Win98 in FAT16 coz NT4 doesn't support FAT32.
it will somehow slow down your win98, a pain in ass, isn't it?
there are some articles on Internet about this problem. but their solution
is a little complicated.
i think there is a simple way to do this
if you have win98 in C:(primary), NT4 in D:(logic)
1. install "Fat32 for NT4" in NT4.
2. change C: to FAT32
3. in win98, install Win2000, (clean installtion) |

今天用HP USB Format Tool格式化成FAT32格式.然后设为Active.用Wii Backup
Manager 0.3.1beta3将ISO游戏转换成.wbmf格式transfer上USB盘,再用usb loader GX就可以玩了. |

要cios38 rev15以上支持。
安装cios38 rev17死机，折腾了下menu update那个东西，之后cios38 rev17可以安装
了，更新了ios249
安装hermes 222 38 merge 37, 223 38 merge 60
还是不能识别FAT32上面的游戏，硬盘本身可以被识别，换了NTFS还是不行。有人说
hermes rev4不如rev3稳定？
求解，怀疑是我的cios38 rev17有点问题？看那个教程说要恢复trucha两次，我想这个
应该做过就没搞。 |

Basically, if your machine is not dual boot to Linux/Win98, FAT32 doesn't have
any advantage.
NTFS can give you:
* Better security, like encryption
* Smaller cluster size, i.e., lots of small files will take less space in NTFS
* Better performace
* Other features like compression, quota, audit, virtual path, ...
One possible con is if your system crashed, the disk will not be read by win98
machines. That's not a big deal cz you can now easily find a 2000/XP machine.

这两天在折腾破解wii。发现游戏都要４.３G，现在100G的硬盘分区是FAT３２的，需要
转成NTFS才行。Windows XP 下，用convert D: /FS:NTFS命令试了好多次，总是显示:
The conversion failed.
D: was not converted to NTFS＂
但是没有任何其他提示。checkdisk也说没有问题。一开始以为空间不够，删了很多，
腾出了将近５０％的空间，还是不行。 开机转入safe mode DOS下，还是同样的结果。
各位有没有类似的经验，能不能给些建议。多谢啦！要是实在不行就只好直接格了：（ |

64GB card. It is using extFAT filesystem. Mini 0805 supports it (with newer
firmwares), but not officially... I had to reformat my 64GB card to FAT32
and now it's working without problems! Unfortunately If I formating card in
MINI 0805 itself then it makes extFAT again, and the problem is starting
over.
Used 3rd party partition manager since no any FAT32 formatter or SDformatter
could format it into FAT32 under Win7x64 |

只是fat32放不下720p放不下dvd的iso就算了，但是exfat在linux上不认，没有sp3的xp
也不行。
