发帖数: 1054 | 3 惭愧，我真搞不明白 IRA 帐号 和401 K 的区别。 我的好像不是401 K。 我雇主 有CONTRIBUTION 的退休帐号可以买的基金并不很多，有很多限制。 我的ROTH IRA因为是自己的钱， 倒是可以随便买股票基金。
我喜欢FCNTX 因为它的表现很稳定，因为它 GO ANYWHERE 的风格， 也因为它虽然是LARGE CAP 里面第2大的基金，但是 却 OUTPERFORM 大盘。 到今天为止， S&P 500 YTD大概是涨了8个百分点吧， FCNTX YTD大概是14个百分点多点。
打个买股票的比方， APPLE 公司已经是 上市的 TECH 公司里面市值最大的了， 但是它今年的YTD照样 远远BEAT 大多数的 SMALL CAP 吧。
我买的的 FUNDS 里面当然有比FCNTX YTD好不少的， 但我个人感觉 或者波动起伏比 FCNTX大不少，或者DIVERSIFY 不够，不适合用来做CORE HOLDINGE FUND。
或者对于更保守的投资者， INDEX FUND 才是最适合做CORE HOLDING 的。 我自己折衷一下， 选择一个 PERFORMAN... 阅读全帖 |

because it is in our 401(k). Will is a great manager, IMHO one of the best
in business, but it irks me a lot that Fido keeps it open at nearly $100B.
Adding other funds Will managed with similar style, the total probably is
above $120B. The only thing I can think of positively is the fees reduced a
little bit to 0.74%. Going forward, he will be hard-pressed to outperform
benchmark, it is just a cash cow for Fido.

FCNTX，你自己去把它和过去10年的SP500比比。跑不过多少，但是跑过是没有问题的。
要是跑不过大盘你买它干嘛，直接买SPY不就完了。 |

FRIFX is a quite good reit fund.
FSCRX will give you some nice exposition to small cap stocks.
By the way, I noticed that FABLX is a balanced fund. It is no surprise that a balance fund is underperforming the stock market. It is because that a balanced fund always holds some bonds.
You may use your balanced fund as a core holding and add some sector funds to boost the performance of your account. |

it is an active fund and is too expensive.
if you are very very Conservative, you can get some FBIDX. But this fund
has too much very long term bond, which I think is very bad. the interests

If you see them as average, you already know what consistently beat index
funds, then why you sounded like you don't know any that can do just that?
I certainly was looking at the wrong chart. In the last 10 years, FCNTX is
up 102.15% whereas SPY is up 56%. If that doesn't count as "beat the crap",
I don't know what does. I don't know about you, I certainly wouldn't mind

sp500 from an article i read. also when you pick a star fund， there are
always at least 3 factors u need to consider.
1. the flow is enemy of a fund future performance.
2. the tenure a star manager of a star fund.
3. the "reversion to the mean" of a fund.

另外，你绝大部分是非Fidelity的基金。放在Fidelity账户内，交易有额外费用。每次
rebalance就会有损失。所以除非有特别理由保留，建议换为Fidelity fund。
你两个Fidelity fund其实还行：FLPSX FVDFX，可以保留。
其它推荐一下：
前三个是综合的，都还马虎。

XXR's fidality total bond (FBND, completely flat, most likely will have
