building’s roof has died.
Canton police say the man was one of two people on the roof assessing snow
removal needs when he walked across a skylight covered by snow and fell
about 40 feet to the ground. It happened just before 5 p.m. Sunday.
The man, who was not identified, was taken to a hospital where he was
pronounced dead.

出乎意料，巴尔的摩在我已经去过的华盛顿，纽约，波士顿，巴尔的摩中却是最为好玩最为喜欢惬意
的。对纽约没一点感觉，香港一样的城市，对我没吸引力。华盛顿和波士顿还不错。我应该会再去巴
尔的摩。
巴尔的摩的INNER HARBOR非常之惬意舒适。人很多，大家也非常的悠闲。我沿着HARBOR边走边吹
海风走了一圈，然后在东部突出来的FELLS POINT那里椅子上非常之惬意的躺了一个小时。然后沿
着很有意思的BROADWAY往上走。一直走到官方地图（我下了车第一个就是去INNER HARBOR的
VISITOR CENTER拿地图）都看不到的31街（MUSEUM OF BALTIMORE），住在29街。边走边判
断安全与否，结果非常放心。走的地方，东到FELLS POINT, 北到31街及右边的GREENMOUNT
CEMETERY，西到HOLLINS MARKET,南到FEDERAL HILL，把巴尔的摩基本上都走遍了，一个人走
我也非常放心。

out once and it completely fell apart. Some plastic pieces fell of the last
leg while I am extending it and I somehow manage to lost one protective grip
thingy on one leg. It fell on the ground and made some dings/dents on the
ball head.
I can't get a full refund since it is clearly not new anymore but I am
pretty pissed since I paid good money for crap. Any suggestions? Thanks. |

FELL还是赶到医院来了。DEMI见了他，又昏睡了过去。
两个月后，她顺利出院，中学同学会的很多朋友都来相迎，好不热闹。大家都夸奖这段
时间Simon对Demi的细心照顾。远远的在人群里，Fell还是那般笑容， 和Demi轻轻的点
头致意。
医生告诉她，化学气体和粉尘使她的肺泡纤维化，阻挡了氧气的吸收，她当时缺氧晕厥
。在911当天，这样的患者，数以千计。很多人再也没有醒过来，有的醒过来了，以后
也会慢慢缺氧死去。她是幸运的少数人里的一个，接受到了肺移植。
转眼已是2002年。Demi恢复的不错。Simon一直陪伴在她身边，不离不弃。每次大家问
他们什么时候结婚的时候，Demi也似乎觉得自己很幸福。
这一年纽约Hudson River Open Water Swimming的比赛定在9月，成为纪念911一周年的
系列活动之一。Demi去了很多纪念活动，怀念逝去的同事，庆幸自己还活着。她这一年
总对自己说，活着真好，我该珍惜眼前的一切，包括Simon。
