兄弟连里炸断脚什么的还要来个特写。这个太平洋里已经是常态了（第六集穿越机场）
，成了背景，实际上导演是以一种平常心来对待这些场景了。整个下来，似乎太平洋不
如兄弟连血腥，但实际更真实，更平实，更朴实。拍摄手法更进了一步，战斗场面也更
质朴真实（不再以眩目为目地）。
感觉太平洋逐岛争夺战比兄弟连里的美军欧洲战场要惨烈残酷多了。
究其原因，一个是太平洋战场更难熬（天气酷热潮湿，比欧洲大陆法国的冬天难受太多
了）；二是美德作战，毕竟都是白人新教徒，还有个彼此理解在，双方战斗还是留有余
地的（在文明的范围内作战），而美国对东方人的日本人完全摸不着头脑，从语言宗教
文化到战场上表现出来的奇异特质（泯不畏死不死不休即使失败也决不投降）都无法理
解（大概在陆战队心中日军跟野兽也差不多），撕掉文明面具以后，剩下的只有残酷和
丑陋。
