用的documentclass是IEEETran，也就是那种双列10号字的格式。
现在有一个figure，需要看清细节，我希望能够把它横跨双列放在paper里面，不知道
有没有什么办法。或者实在不行放在文档的最后也行，但是不知道怎么让上面的两列一
样长。

Don't have a solution for your specific problem. As you may know, you may
consider using a short caption:

In these classes the heading for "Abstract" is set using
\chapter*{Abstract}, and \chapter* includes a hidden command
\setcounter{topnumber}{0}, which prevents a float from going
to the top of the page (above the heading "Abstract"). If
you have a small figure it might go to the bottom of the
page if you allow it, but if the figure is too large, it
will be moved to the next page.

tex会自动产生目录List of Figures，
还有一个包含这个目录的信息.lof文件。
（里面的内容基本就是编号，caption，和页码）
但是这个自动生成的List of Figures，我不太满意。
我可以不用\listoffigures，
而是自己做一个.lof文件，
然后再导入到论文里面，
做成新的List of Figures么？
需要用什么命令，和哪些package？

1 column (~ 8-8.5cm wide) , 1.5 column (~11.5 cm wide )and 2 colums (19cm
maximum)
for Height, you have to check individual journals, as some of them have a

choose picture (enhanced metafile) to paste
you figure will be a picture, and you can enlarge it or make it small.
save the original, since if you need to change something in the figure, you
need to do it in the original
hopefully this can solve your problem. |

gold figures and still didn't see it. It turns out to be in rumba only (

Japan.
Shen/Zhao won the gold medal for pairs skating and another Chinese couple
was the runner up.
Zhao proposed to Shen on the ice. They have skated together for 15 years and
this is their last comp. How sweet it is. :)

The identical stuff can be compiled without any problem on my laptop, but it
failed on the desktop.
Considering the desktop just got an update by the administrator, something
must have been changed.
I just want to figure out what are the possible changes that caused this, and

to the Production office, by FTP. 600 dpi is required for line
drawings (black and white) and 300 dpi for colour or greyscale.
Colour figures must be supplied in CMYK not RGB colours.
Anybody know how to do make sure the dpi in linux and make sure it is in CMYK
rather than RGB? |

后来研究生院给一个solution。直接在.tex文章中改的，感觉挺笨的一个办法，出
来的样子也不好看，不过管他的了，能通过ruler lady就行了。

1) Page numbers are .5 inches from top of page, bottom numbers .5 inches
from bottom:
