，也是我们的，但是归根结底是你们的。你们青年人朝气蓬勃，正在兴旺时期，好像早
晨八、九点钟的太阳。希望寄托在你们身上。” 影片《八九点钟的太阳》以两小时篇幅
展示文化大革命的起因和历史。它以1964年到1971年间的事件为主体，上溯五十年代的
大跃进和四十年代的延安整风，下延1976年的天安门事件和1980年对“四人帮”的公开
审判，时间跨度纵横数十载。《八九点钟的太阳》以新中国同龄人的经历为主要线索，
探讨共产党建国后不断激进的革命教育与革命文化对这代人的影响，讲述当时处于不同
地位的人的不同经历与感受，以及他们或主动或被迫卷入政治运动的复杂动机，从而力
图再现一代人由热衷乌托邦理想转变为面对现实独立思考的心路历程。
《八九点钟的太阳》不以编年记事的方式来综述文革，它侧重于展示曲折的个人故事和
家庭的悲欢离合，以此来发掘文革这样一个对千百万个人的命运产 |

工，在惡劣環境下，長時間辛勞工作，只賺了很少的錢，卻製造高價產品，輸往歐美各
地。
紀錄片描述三位女孩，包括主角小莉，和同工小蘭等人的故事。小莉從家鄉陝西，
獨個兒往廣東闖天下，到了東莞沙溪鎮一家由澳門人開設的牛仔褲工廠當剪線頭女工。
小莉每天工作十多個小時，收入微薄，每天只得數美元，首月工資還被扣起作「按金」
。工人居住在十二人一家房的狹小碌架床位，十二人共用一個廁所。工人每朝八時前必
須打卡報到，否則會被扣工資。紀錄片也訪問林姓工廠老闆，喜愛練大字，又乘坐澳門
車牌平治房車，舒適得很。不過，老闆仍然很「精打細算」，不停叫工人加班，還要削
減工資。
有一天，老闆發現工人開工的進度較慢，管理層於是開會，於是乎弄一些標語「鼓
勵」員工，便在工人宿舍的樓梯，塗上了「今天工作不努力, 明天努力找工作」的標語
