used a forklift to extricate a 900-pound Lansing man from his second-floor
bedroom.
A visiting nurse called in rescue workers after determining that the 33-year
-old man needed medical help.
Firefighters lowered the man on a platform and slid it onto a flatbed truck
to take him to a city hospital. The covered him with a tarp to shield him
from onlookers.
