Boehner greatly exaggerated the negative effect on the economy of raising
taxes on upper-income individuals.
Boehner erred when he said that “the problem with raising tax rates on
the wealthiest Americans is that more than half of them are small-business

fiscal year?看过去fiscal year 有些都是当年的7,8甚至12月份才post。现在2017
fiscal year好像还是Continuing resolution，grant的payline 比往年降低了20%以上

I don't why everybody is so panic about the fiscal cliff. People don't have
to do anything. Then everything got cut across the board. Isn't that
wonderful?
What I am panic of right now is: Somebody WILL DO something, increase the

根据教课书的定义， 美国政府宏观经济的调节手法有两种
1. fiscal policy (基本是总统和国会的事， 主要是加税减税和goverment spending)
2. monetary policy (基本是FED的工作， 主要是货币发行和interest rate)
现在两个手法完全相反， 大本正在拼命地印钞票(货币宽松+和低利率)， 总统和国会
正好唱反调(财政紧缩+加税) |
