个人。都是些什么人？三个博士，两个硕士和一个学士！我老农民在美国锻炼了几年，
连这样的地方也敢斗胆显摆了。好胆量！那么，今天我就来显摆一下向日葵。
向日葵属于菊科，所以菊科也称the Sunflower Family。菊科是个大科，有许多大家熟
悉的植物，如茼蒿，莴苣，蒲公英及菊花。
向日葵开花时，非常醒目。其实我们外行所称的花 (图一)，不是真正的一朵花，而是
一个花序。向日葵的花序，叫做头状花序（head）, 每个花序包括了几百甚至几千多小
花（florets）。向日葵的小花分两种。外围一圈的叫ray florets，每朵小花有一片黄
色的花瓣(图二)。Ray florets专门负责招蜂引蝶，但自己不结果子。黄圈子里面的那
密密麻麻的，叫disk florets (图三)。Disk florets没有花瓣，但结果子。
大多菊科植物的花序，都有这么两种小花。有些菊科植物的花序，则只有ray florets

想起来4年前曾经写过的这篇旧帖，当时主要是参考了Gina Ford的The Contented
Little Baby Book（以下简称CLB）上面关于辅食添加的部分、每次体检时儿医给的手
册以及营养师朋友那里学到的知识。写的时候有考虑到不同孩子和不同家庭的差别，于
是尽量把我了解到的知识都囊括进去，而不只是挑选我觉得重要和有用的。结果写完发
现真的好长，于是分成两篇了。一些关键词用黑体标出以方便查找信息，不过因为列出
的建议较多较细，各位爸爸妈妈千万不要被吓到，根据自家情况过滤筛选一下就好，有
任何疑问的欢迎通过各种方式讨论:)
开始正文之前先说说CLB这本书，这是一本争议比较大的书：特别喜欢和特别不喜欢的
人都不少。Gina本人是一名护士，所以这本书理论部分比较精炼，然后篇幅较重的是实
践部分，比如孩子的吃睡具体应该如何操作。她的建议相当细，一天的作息是精确到每
一个钟点的。考虑到孩子的个体差异，如果孩子刚出生的时候并没有参考此书的建议，
中途开始试图照此书调整作息时孩子的情况又和书中的标准作息相差较... 阅读全帖 |

▪ 1oz约等于30毫升；1杯=236毫升；1大勺=15毫升；1小勺=5毫升
▪ 以下凡是提到水的，宝宝直接喝的都是指过滤后烧开的自来水（或冷或热）；
凡是用来煮食物的，都是指过滤后的自来水
▪ Gina是英国人，所以书中给出的食物品种和做法不少都是西式的，大家可自行
调整成恰当的中餐品种和做法。
第三部分： 7-9个月宝宝的辅食
随着辅食量的增加，宝宝一天的奶量相应地会慢慢减少。但是一天仍然需要17-20oz左
右的奶量摄入，这包括了每天3顿奶和三餐烹饪中用到的奶（比如调cereal和白酱汁中
用到的奶等）。在这个阶段宝爸宝妈们应该帮助宝宝建立规律的三餐，到宝宝9个月大
的时候，营养主要来源成为各种固体食物，而不是母乳或者配方奶了。为了更好地完成
这个过渡阶段，父母应该继续让宝宝尝试多种多样的食物（各种类型的碳水化合物、蛋
白制品、乳制品、蔬菜和水果），保证营养均衡。
不少宝宝这个时候能够接受一些味道比较重的菜了，并且开始懂得享受不同食物不同的

After you have harvested the main head, you can continue to harvest the side
shoots from the broccoli. These will grow like tiny heads to the side of
where the main head was. By looking at the size of the florets, you can tell
when these side shoots are ready for harvest. Simply cut them off as they
become ready.

celery stalk for garnish
