flyover, upper thomson, adam/farrer road. 新加坡交通法规有规定，无论是自动
的，还是人操的，还是车载的（警用摩托车后面的大箱子，上面贴有银光条），都必须

用代步车和用豪华车，两辆车的loan+maintenance差别也要大几千了。
对女人来说，不怎么买衣服/包/化妆品的，和经常逛逛店卖东西的 ... 这差别大了，
无底洞了 ...
不过对于留学生家庭来说，花钱的习惯还只是自己的习惯而已，只是说有的人省惯了，
有的人花惯了。夫妇两人如果是一个省，一个花的那还能中和一下。如果两人都是一个
习惯，那就比较极端了。但留学生家庭毕竟还是流离于一般美国人社会之外的，我想说
的是那种花钱的水准和赚钱的水准成正比的效应不是太明显 - 毕竟美国人之间的peer
pressure对留学生家庭来说比较不会受到压力 - 因为，留学生家庭在这里没啥亲戚好
友的（是指本地好友，留学生好友也是一个路子的）
要真和美国人一个过法，这钱真没法存了，隔天（或每周末吧）去酒吧泡泡，经常去听
听音乐会，经常去wine taste, 上上各种阳村白雪的班，什么绘画板陶艺班，到了
wedding season，一个一个的婚礼接着来，有的还要flyover ...这还不算度假那种big
