弱问题。
在公式编辑器里有Define Sizes的窗口，比如Full 12 pt, Subscript/Superscript 7
pt. etc.
如果你知道你的公式要和文字font 8搭配，那么在输入公式时，可以用 Size->
Smaller。
现在的问题是，我不知道文字最终要多少大小的字体。
比如我在font 12下输入公式，这时公式有默认的各种字符的大小很搭配。
1个月后，我需要把文字大小设成font 10，那么怎么改变所有公式的font大小呢？
有人说选中文字，然后再用font来改变大小。
这个只对文字有用。公式不改变。
对了，我用的是Word 2003，
MathType Ver. 6.6。
难道最新版本可以一起改变了？ |

After using this online service, those fonts are still not shown as embedded
in 'Document Properties'-'fonts'.
For example, the Actual Font used for 'Times-Itatic' is 'TimesNewRomanPS-
ItalicMT'.
When I used 'distiller' to do the coversion, the log shows:

下两种方法，都不能只改menu bar font size
1. System Preference -> Display -> resolution
resolution 变低后， font size 是大了，可是字体都不是很清楚，别的也虚了
2. 用 "command & +"
只能改变窗口显示内容的字体大小， 窗口本身menu bar font size 没有变化
请问怎么才能变大 “应用程序窗口的menu bar font size”？

thousands of fonts and creates a big problem for me.
I only use about 5 fonts everyday, and each time it takes me more than one
minute to scroll down the drop down menu to find those fonts.
Is it possible to delete or hide those unused fonts and only show the 5
fonts I use?

But I have one more little problem.
I have a .eps file. It uses Helvetica fonts. Since I do not have any
control how to general the .eps figure, I cannot embed fonts in it.
As a result, the latex (MikTex) generated final pdf does not embed
Helvetica fonts. I am wondering if there is a way to embed fonts
appeared in the .eps files in the final pdf file. Also is there a way
to embed fonts in the eps, sy, I use xfig to draw a figure?

is a latex option. In higher version latex (I tried tetex-3.0 package),
pdflatex embeds all the fonts by default. However, font subsetting in .eps/.
pdf figures depends on the source applications that generates these figures. e
.g. matlab do only embed/not subset fonts when exporting eps/pdf figures, I
even can not find an option to change this setting.
One solution is to use third-party tools to subset fonts in eps/pdf |

The conference asks authers to embed all fonts in the final pdf file. But when
I use MikTex or other Latex software to do:
latex => dvips => ps2pdf
the fonts Times-* Helvetica* were never embedded in the pdf. And after long
searching on the internet, I am convenienced that Adobe Distiller and dvips
will not embed these fonts because they are basic fonts that do not need to
be embedded.
However, the conference checking software would not let the pdf pass the check

"xset fp+ /mydir/cxterm/xfont/",it prompts:

In C++-mode, font lock recognizes int, float etc as types and highlight
them using font-lock-type-face. Yet it does not font lock on extended types
for instance time_t and iterator.
Emacs fontifies these names by default and one can append whatever he wants
to the list c++-font-lock-extra-types. And if your company decided all the
classes in its application code would conform to a name convention class

比latex麻烦一点，但是你用mathtype，还是可以很容易做的。选择Format Equations
，或者改变新公式的font size，或者load一个格式文件包含你需要的新font size，关
键是最后range里面选上whole document，这样你文章中所有的公式都会被自动重新格

T1 is one kind of Encoding for fonts. Type 1 is one kind of PostScript font,
which is outlined, instead of bitmapped, as in Type 3 fonts.

Body font too small: minimum 10pt, saw values as small as 9pt on page 1

1 displays web fine, the other not.
index.html has frames,
you can see the right side frame has trouble to display the fonts.
if i just display the right frame, then it's fine.

该死的会议论文提交系统，要求每个PDF文件必须通过它的检查方可上载。
我是在MS WORD里编辑的公式，
每次通过以下操作生成PDF文件，
print to file (.prn) --> Gsview (.ps) --> Adobe Distiller (.pdf)
该系统就检测出一堆Type 3 Fonts errors.
我得一个一个公式重新改写。
但现在，它死活不认WORD里的积分号字符(以及MS WORD EQUATION EDITOR下的积分符号)
，
有没有大侠给我指点一下，如何让积分符号在被编译的PDF文件中通过检查。
或者用什么其他符号可以替代积分？
