发帖数: 219 | 5 我去过smoky四次，红叶萤火虫都看过，hiking,camping都去过不少地方，给个建议吧，
其实看红叶最好的时间是10月的第三个周末，所以推迟一周会更好，当然12号到15号也
不错的。看样子是第一次去，Cades Cove还不错，就是下午很堵，最好安排早上，最远
点Abrams Fall trail比较出名，不远适合热身。从Newfound Gap走Appalachian trail
人很多，路基本上在山脊上比较好走。从Cataloochee Campground有一系列trail比较
原始，一
个女生注意安全。如果Camping的话，十个frontcountry campground里只有Balsam Mt
环境最好，但那里海拔高很冷，不知道那时候有没有关门。其他的frontcountry都很一
般，Backcountry 不推荐女生。Fontana Lake有个租Kayak的地方boating。Gatlinburg
有个Fork Motor Trail看红叶很不错，入口就在Gatlinburg附近很方便。
Tennessee一边人为开发的很多，其实北卡那边风景更好。 |

Fontana Half Marathon 被美国田径协会评价为世界最快的的半程马拉松比赛路线。这
个距离我家不远。
我今天仔细一看，我靠，居然是起点在三千多英尺的山上，San Bernadino 国家森林公
园， 然后下降两千多英尺，跑下来，大部分在开始的六个英里下降的。
这个实在太作弊了。
同学们，有心打破自己PR的，赶紧来报名，五月24日以前是30刀，比赛是 6月6号， 四个人一组报名，每个人 25刀，有谁报名的？ |

It's a downhill course with 2000ft drop, fastest HM in the world. The name
is attractive. But it also messed up with my objectives. At start, I was
thinking of NYCM qualifying time 1:23. Felt warm and humid, HR was higher
than I expected. By mile 3, I knew the goal was unrealistic. Then I aimed to
PR(1:27). By mile 9, knowing it was not my day, I further reduced it to
Marathon pace run. The final result on my watch was |

really need to push it the heat would prevent you from doing your best. The
sun also makes a big difference. |

shade, but once I was exposed in bright sunlight, the feeling is totally
different, and as matter of fact, as indicated by my car's temp reading,
with direct sunlight, a 60F day may turn out to be 70F at least.
Today's race ending of 69F, I am pretty sure it is actually 79 under the
sun.

land on midfoot, don't brake, don't overstride either.
minimize arm movement, use arms only for balance.
my quads would hurt afterwards, that's expected from downhill running.
but i didn't feel anything on my knees. |

我也感觉跑步越来越轻松了。（要谢谢LP的支持）
目前为止51周，跑了超过3000迈，平均pace 8:27/mi。
分摊到每周只有59迈，8小时多一点，其实不算很多。
由于强度不算太大，也没有大伤，很幸运地坚持下来。
另一个收获是我爸也被我带上贼船，刚完成了半马，准备明年初跑全马。
以下是今年的跑步训练小结:
（两个全马，两个半马，一个10k，一个5k，打酱油的不算）
第一阶段，从去年年底到3/21是AM 18/70计划。
2/21 Pasadena Half Marathon，1:27:35(debut PR)，找到了自信。
3/21 LA Marathon，第一个认真准备的马拉松，得到了宝贵的教训。
天气热，坡多，一开始冲太快，30k crash了。成绩3:22:35(PR)
第二阶段，3/22-6/13，12周的Hadd base training。
大部分都是75%以下的easy run，每周有两次HR155(82.5%)的steady pace run。

发帖数: 12977 | 40 我跑步的pacific electric trail, 原先完全修好的部分只有5迈不到，跑个来回接近
10迈。
后来trail的西面延长到了我们临近的两个city，Upland和Claremont, 单程就已经10迈
多了。
去年年底开始西面一处修桥，我搬家以后从家里向西跑，来回正好十个迈。
如果想跑long run, 就从家里跑目前被修路挡住的其余东西两侧。大约是15迈。
最近发现东面扩建的trail也修好了不少。今天跑去，进入东面的穷亲戚Fontana city
发现他们负责修建的trail又长了很多，新修好的部分公园一般，两侧很大片的草坪还有
鲜花盛开的花圃，照明灯，休息的座椅，喝水的fountain，很是气派。
跑到一个路口，看见巨大的Mercedes Benz的厂房还是仓库，过了马路还有一望无际的
trail延到天边。由于今天风雨交加，就暂时探险到这里，下次再探。 |

recovery。 话说今年天气真好，太阳一直在云层里，最后一迈的时候
才害羞地在我屁股后面露出半个脸。
我带了3瓶水（第四个瓶子昨晚怎么也找不到了），结果也就象征性喝了
一口而已，杯具地扛着三瓶水跑了二十迈。
跑到8迈左右，看见路过的城市Fontana市政大厅封路，居然是一个比赛
的终点，恍然大悟这就是我提过的世界上最快的半程马拉松比赛，baiji
同学被我忽悠去跑，我连打酱油都没去过。
再次经过比赛终点的时候，我想，是不是停下来看看牛人是如何冲刺的。仔细
一看手表，才刚过7点，不知道比赛是7点还是8点开始，估计要等很久，就继续
跑回家。
跑在回程15迈的时候，我在8迈见过的一个小破孩再次相遇，他大约是高中生，
穿着那种垮掉的牛仔裤，在trail上走路。
我哼哧哼哧用9分的pace再次经过他，就听见他突然在我后面开跑。这时候的
我们所在的trail非常荒凉，周围空无一人，我但是就警觉地跑到trail的
左面，避免被他从正背后赶过来。

排石阶上，优哉游哉地吃冰淇淋，二是她将手迟疑地伸入石像口中，满脸惊惧娇羞。
Hepburn的美丽优雅和凄婉的爱情故事成就了《罗马假日》，而这部电影也让罗马的三
处景致成为了人们的旅游点 – 西班牙广场（Piazza Spagna），真理之口（Bocca
della Verità），和许愿池（Fontana di Trevi）。
相信不喜欢Audrey Hepburn的人不太多，而大概每个女孩子的心里都有对美丽爱情的渴
望和作一个优雅公主的些许想像和憧憬。
当我兴冲冲和老公到达西班牙广场时，那些电影里公主坐着吃冰淇淋的西班牙石阶上，
已水泻不通地坐满了游人。除了“人肉阶梯”，我再看不见其它，更别说按设想的在这
里走一走，坐一坐，再让老公装成Gregory Peck从我身边走过（还好没告诉他，否则肯
定会被他严词拒绝，并大加嘲笑。）。失望沮丧中，我只得落荒而逃，转战许愿池。
（只能给你们看看电影里的西班牙石阶了）
但许愿池前的情形更糟，只差水里没站着人。一些游客在人群里奋力挣扎着对镜头挤出
笑容，并叮嘱着摄影师 |

环境那是很好的。而且有很多事可做。晚上在群山环绕之中，带着小朋友坐在火边烤
marshmallow。远处是灯光棒球场，晚上还有人打球。白天可以在林子里打mini golf，
或者租golf cart在山坡上跑来跑去，还有专家来介绍鸟类，各种hawk什么的，有的很
罕见，大人孩子都可以去试试让猛禽扑上胳膊的滋味，很酷。附近是水库，可以参加
tour，还可以租船钓鱼。
我们家孩子都不要回来。 |
