Any citizen of any country at any time in history had been permitted to go
the mansion of the leader and sing his praises. But that is not freedom.
Freedom means being able to criticize the leader, even unfairly, without
being questioned, certainly without being hauled before the magistrates and
sentenced to public service, fined, or incarcerated.

There is one thing I believe needs some clarification so going forward
people can be clear headed about who was responsible for what transpired
during Lin's free agency process.
Unfortunately, it is convenient for some to blame Lin for things he simply
