seems like it's a commom problem.
People have tried many methods, living the tv on, living the fan on, even
some white noise generator. But nothing seems to work. The above sounds are
wide spectrum/low frequency white noise. Footsteps are startling pulses,
like sharp tones, can't be buried by white noise ......
