欺骗中国学生事件经常发生在英国一些赫赫有名的大学，我们根据中国留学生反映的事件
作了排名予以公布：
1.鲁顿，由于联合了中国一所农业大学，骗了近千中国学生，被留学生评为最垃圾学校。
2.爱克赛特，是让中国学生最痛的学校，他们让大量未达到录取成绩的学生念语言或foun
dation，但是不让他们通过，许多同学即使入学，也有高达25%的淘汰率，以至学生欲哭
无门，他们赚了大量黑心钱是建筑在中国学生白骨基础上的。
3.利物浦，发生至少六次以上欺骗中国学生或赖中国学生奖学金事件。
4.伯明瀚，也有数起赖奖学金事件
5.玛丽皇后，中国数位博士生被骗入学，当初说奖学金申请很容易，入学了就可以申请，
但一交定费，再也别想得到一分钱，许多博士欲哭无泪。

圈那种暗管排水系统。
就像我说的，这是岩土的变化导致的，土层含水量的变化会导致土层发生一些不利变化
，这个和你lot土的性质、周围环境、地势、气候、地下水位等等有关。
至于对房子有多大影响，只能具体情况具体分析。横向来说，每个lot的自然条件都是不
同的，各个影响因素的比重也不同，最后组合出来的结果更是不同。纵向来说，各影响
因素可能随时间而变化，比如季节不同，地下水位不同、降雨量不同，都会导致最终表
现出来的状况出现变化。你所问的“foundation problem”，我需要告诉你的是，foun
dation，中文叫作基础或者地基，指的是房子底下用来支撑房子，把上部的重量传递给
“自然”土层的“人造”构造。请注意我特别指出的“自然”/“人造”，这就是分界线
，foundation是人造部分，房子通过foundation “座”在地球上，就像你穿鞋站在海滩
上，鞋/砂就是分界线，鞋算是foundation。

目前墙面情况都还是好的，外墙内墙上都没有发现任何的crack, 室外查了一圈，唯一
出现裂缝的就是门前台阶周围这一块地。想再请教一下，builder今天把这个gap填补好
了之后，（按照我粗浅的理解哈），如果地基或者下面的土层有问题的话，新的gap还
会逐渐出现的，对不对？如果再次出现新的gap, 是不是几乎就能肯定是下面的土层有
问题？
另外，请教一下土层是不是就说soil under/around the foundation 就行了？

rehabilitator，让他们收走或是你给送过去。前年我家就有两个Baby Bird从树上掉
下来了，鸟窝太高在松树里我们不可能把他们放回去，我就Google一下，找了一个当地
的bird rehabilitator把他们收走了。这个月，我家门前的树上有个鸽子窝，有一天刮
大风下大雨两只Baby鸽子掉下来了，我们把他们放回去了，结果爸爸妈妈回来不一会儿
把其中一只又给扔下来了，因为那只比较小可能掉下来摔坏了，爸爸妈妈就不要了，就
剩另外一只，结果连着两天还是刮大风下大雨，另一只也不见了。我们伤心了半天，结
果一周以后有一天我们开车库门，发现剩下的另一只竟然蹲在草地里的石头上，毛已经
长了不少，我LD马上拿出来一个蓝子，把它放进去，然后挂在同一棵树上，大概又过了
一个星期，它就飞走了，我们每天都出来检查小鸟，它一直蹲在篮子边儿上，但是从来
没有看到爸爸妈妈进到篮子里，但是可以肯定它们还是在喂小鸟的。我们很高兴它能终
于健康成长了，呵呵。

子地基土层一下外围做防透水处理，再加上室内有sunpump把超过安全线的地下水抽走
，所以大多少情况下地基裂缝并不会有烦人的问题表现；
但裂缝大了之后，问题就有一些了，比如有小虫子会从裂缝里跑进来，对于一些没有
sunpump的老房子，大裂缝有可能就有些头疼的问题，特别是连续几天雨量特别大的时
候会些雨水会从裂缝里进来；

Google的motto是don't be evil。 在中国filter政治敏感信息，这对他们来说，已经
是向evil妥协，Sergey不爽(agonized)很久了。妥协之后又没建树，在中国这个独特的
互联网环境里又要不断面对新的妥协。。。这只会更加不爽。

发帖数: 74 | 31 我的court appeal 不成功，只减掉了两点。我的上庭经过可能和很多人有点不一样。我
就唐僧一把，给大家做个参考吧。
我去的是Mansfield township 的court house. 起了个大早儿，赶了个晚集，迟到10分钟
。进门已经有3，40人在排队。等着register.我就站在队里，指望着被发配去见prosecut
or.但几乎所有人都拿了张纸就让坐到court room里了。我也不例外，尽管我还跟clert
（girl) flirt了一下。最后court room 里居然坐不下，足有100多人。然后就是漫长而
枯燥的court hearing,当然其中也不乏小插曲。
最先处理的是有律师出庭的，清一色的plead guilty.基本上都得到deduction.然后是些
大案要案，有17次moving violation的，有酒后驾车的，有携带大麻的... 其间有个女孩
居然因为离开时对judge表示不满而不敬被戴上了手铐。这一下整个气氛就紧张了起来。
接下来的人都老老实实plead guilty了事。偶而有plead not guilty的，都先被威胁if
