2. When your shot has to carry over a water hazard, you can either hit one
more club or two more balls.
3. If you're afraid a full shot might reach the green while the foursome
ahead of you is still putting out, you have two options: you can immediately
shank a lay-up or you can wait until the green is clear and top a ball
halfway there.

6500 yards, Slope 129). The course was really really wet and cart path only.
Got in a foursome with a single-handi guy; left-handed. He drives more than
300 yards, and his 2i gets 260 yards - no club in between. It was quite an
awesome experience watching his tee shots, even though he likes to use 2i
more than his driver.
My driver can match his 2i. The guy was -2 after 6 holes and got 75; I ended
up with a 95.....

golfer friends of mine will be playing, most likely teeing off around 1pm,
and going to dinner afterwards probably in a Chinese restaurant in White

我有个想法：这个版上显然有几个球友比较集中的地区：南加，北加，德州，纽约。其
他的地方不知道是否大多数人只在这潜水，按说西雅图，芝加哥，温哥华，多伦多，波
士顿，佛罗里达等地区也应该有相当数量的球友。
要不2013年大家把各地球聚的成绩都报上来，然后再用这些成绩来远程对抗？可以用
Handicap，报Gross和Net. 时机成熟之后，还可以举行更大区域甚至跨地区的球聚。
如果大家觉得可行，纽约地区的球聚下个月就可以举行。前边有人提议Hudson Hills，
找个星期天定几个foursome应该没有问题。 |

发帖数: 1917 | 12 昨天起个大早，上午打了两场网球比赛，下午三点多带孩子们打球。头九洞还不错，40
杆，其中Driver打得很舒服，丢的几杆基本都是4-6尺的推杆。亮点是四号洞480码，顺
风，开球后离旗杆175码，八号铁打到洞口两寸，国内说法应该是死鸟。但即使死鸟还
是没赢，因为老大从八尺远也推进一只鸟。
跟孩子们打球的规则是老三红梯，老大老二金梯，老爸“黑+”梯，所谓“黑+”梯，就
是从黑梯台最后端one club length之内开球，所以距离上平均每洞要比实际黑梯还要
远个5码左右。这是老三定的规则，目的很明确，就是要给老爸增加难度。老三头九打
得也不错，50杆。头九除了两个三杆洞和一个短四杆洞，其他的洞距离上讲老三不可能
green in regulation. 所以头九实际上对老三来说是par42左右，50杆不错了。
选择周六下午带家人打球，其中一个最主要原因是这个时候球场上人最少。前九一路顺
畅，到了第十洞追上了前边的foursome，于是开始每杆都要等。平时的话人家看到我们
等，一般就让我们先过了，不过这几位估计是新会员和客人，我不认识，人家可能看我

昨天天气不错,跑到MONARCH BAY一个人打TWIGHTLIGHT. 1点中的TEE TIME,但我不到12
点就到了,因为这段时间开球的人少,我想看有没有机会早点上场.CHECK IN完了往TEE
BOX一看果然一个人没有,赶快跑去开球.一路没有人,直到地四洞才追上前面一组,
FOURSOME.但是前面没有让我地意思,所以只好SLOW DOWN下来,同时打两个球,然后还有
时间看看微信.到了第九洞(NO1 HANDICAP, 400YARD))开了两个球,差不多距离.过去时
候发现11洞有个GAP,可以跳过前面两组慢的,于是我就收起一个球,准备快点打完好跳洞
.当时在LIGHT ROUGH里,因为冬天了,球场的CONDITION比上次来这里(2月前)差了不少.
ROUGH也不是很难打.LASER显示179YARD,用5铁,准备打到附近,CHIP AND PUTT.因为上
一洞的铁干打的不好,所以告诉自己别多想,放松.结果随手一挥打了一个很漂亮的DRAW,
直接上了GREEN,奔PIN冲去.当我开车快到GREEN时,没有看到球在GREEN上,当时觉得有可
