如果x_i > 0,那么x_i+1 > 0的概率是常数P, 如果x_i < 0,那么x_i+1 < 0的概率是
常数P。
如果x_i+x_i+1 > 0, 那么x_i+2 + x_i+2> 0的概率是常数P, 如果x_i+x_i+1 < 0, 那
么x_i+2 + x_i+2< 0的概率是常数P。
......
如果x_i+x_i+1+...x_i+2^n-1 > 0, 那么x_i+2^n + x_i+2^(n+1)-1> 0的概率是常数P,
如果x_i+x_i+1+...x_i+2^n-1 < 0, 那么x_i+2^n + x_i+2^(n+1)-1 < 0的概率是常数
P。
其实就是一个fractal,如果是布朗运动的差分,Gaussian Noise, P=0.5。
想问的是:
1。如果P不等于0.5,那么预测下一个值大于还是小于0理论上可以达到多少?预测下2
^n个值的和呢?
2。简化一下问题,假如x_i只能是+1,-1,其他不变。
很久以前读paper A时提到过paper B里分析过这个东西。可惜当时没把B的信息记录下
来。

Of course N~A^2 is not correct (I have tested for 1D case). The key point is
how the average repeat times at each trajectory depends on L, if the
relation is like: repeat times~A^b then your conclusion will not hold.
This problem is actually pretty difficult, you can make a search to see if it
is already solved by those statistics professionals but I think the
possibility is not high (they are not so interested in the lattice).
I suggest you first have a look on 1D case. This case is very simple

组里继续招人。除了data scientist(统计背景,或者ml/nlp背景)还在招人,最近big
data software engineer 方面需求增多,开始要招几个职位。如果有这方面工作经验
(Hadoop MR/Yarn, hive/pig, spark, architecture design) ,或者虽然相关经
验不多,但是至少熟悉Java/Scala/Python而且肯学习的,都可以试试。
现在南加,纽约,芝加哥,达拉斯都有位置。尤其是南加最近开始招人,欢迎来试试。
这个职位是consulting的性质,可能需要一定数量的travel。
我以前在这里发文推荐过,最后说明一下,希望应聘者应该是有一定工作经验,而且知
