As someone who has been critical of what I have perceived as the media’s
rush to judgment against Joe Paterno in the Jerry Sandusky scandal, I was
very eager to hear the results of the report by former FBI director Louis
Freeh. My primary concern through all of this is that the case against

The "report" is what it is, incomplete and a judgement, i.e. conclussion
based on available evidence.
It has gaps and is not complete without interviewing MOST of the people, it
has to make judgements. Based on what they could drudge up, the opinions
are valid, but it still has gaps and missing pieces.

in fact, PSU can only hire his law firm, to do, get this, something that is
not of legal significance and provides no legal remedy. Plus, it looks
like his team is Chinese walled by both parties during the investigation.

前面谁说过，这个freeh报告不知道为什么，一个defense side当事人都没有采访。是

已经无法(主动)取消了，否则对手们的schedule都要messed up。
缓刑到明年又说不过去 --- 关门两年是因为有"乱"要纠正，既然要纠正就应该停止
一切外部活动，立马内部反省改进。缓刑的话，今年带＂乱＂打一年，明年再反省，
这显然有悖初衷，有点可笑。
所以总结起来，penn state football应该关门两年，但这次不凑巧，操作起来麻烦
太多，也许就不了了之了。 |
