在Google做事的邻居给我发了几个相关的email，就去试了一下。从个人角度来看，我
选Goog+。我最喜欢的地方是它有family，freinds和acquaintances这三个circles，也可以create新circles。

I don't care about food from any other countries and I don't care for
museums. But just for the 4 culinary reasons above, I would choose to live in New
York, nowhere else.

大家不要骂我，纽约的生活质量比起deep south来还是低不少的。先说大家能上网看到
的，就是房价。今天刚刚看到一个坑，说纽约附近Jersey City那里一个2br的apt就要
50k-70K，这个钱在deep south各州都能买很大的独栋house了，还不是很差的区。再说
生活，纽约到哪里都要做公交地铁，就算有钱了打车，自己独行还可以，但是要拖家带

发帖数: 578 | 17 在carmel valley torrey hills附近，45迈的zone开了大概57的样子。当时实在是没注
意到后面警察跟着。等警察拦住我的时候，心里暗叫倒霉啊。又要记点，又要罚款
， 又要上驾校，还要涨保险。
第一个念头想到的是“freinds"上ross和rachael被抓住的解决方法，惭愧啊。好在念头
被扼杀在萌芽阶段。要不就丑大了
只好把车停住。警察第一句话就问，你难道没看到我在后面跟你了你好几个block吗？
我只好老实的说，真的没注意到。我尽注意到天上的高压线了。真是没看见您。 于是
拿驾照，拿保险，可恨的是还没找到registration. 只好说忘带了，不过你可以看我
license plate上的sticker.
警察竟然笑了笑，说，下次要眼观6路，耳听8方， 尤其要小心警察。说，这次
就给你个警告吧。我一听心中暗喜，使劲的握了握警察的手，这真是人民的好服务
员啊。

发帖数: 2327 | 20 住在Cupertino的话，Rancho San Antonio很近。里边有很多trails，有的树很多，有
的树少一些，看你选那个trail了。多去几次，就知道那个trail更适合你。比如说
Wildcat Loop Trail，或Coyote Trail/By pass Trail，或Rogue Valley Trail，都有
挺多树，而且比较 Family Freindly。
30lb 对于喜欢backpacking的人来说，不算什么。另外也有很多人在trail上推儿童车
的。
另外，稍微远一点儿，Saratoga 那边的Villa Montalvo 有一个两个迈的小trail，对
喜欢 hiking 的人来说没有任何挑战，但对全家乐来说，是个挺好的去处。 |

来美国总共学了三个小时车就去考证。考证一次过了。
之后大概两个多月没碰车。再一次开车就直接上高速，一个人，从Astoria一直开到
Corvallis。那时候还没有GPS，就一手拿着mapquest打下来的地图，一手握着方向盘，
从山路30上一直开到I-5到Corvallis，最后居然活了下来。
到达目的地的时候，下车一个劲的哆嗦。
还有一次，晚上11点，下着泼瓢大雨，从Corvallis一直开到西雅图，高速上的能见度
大概是10米左右。在高速上超18轮的时候，能见度可以忽略不计。开过夜车的同学都知
道，为了避免白天的交通，晚上18轮巨TMD多。几乎是一路凭感觉开回来。如果有人看
过Freinds， 最后一季Chandler和Monica看房子的时候，不巧碰到Janice，Chandler说
了一句神马吓得跳到身体里而且never come back。男同学应该都知道我在说什么。

Folks there are not the regular americans we know. 150k people were there
in those 3 days, most of them camped out there. I saw his pictures. Carzy!
The most impressive thing for him was how loud racing is. |

Very glad that we started our tournament last night and two games were
played last night. Many thanks go to south, macelee, team leaders and all
other freinds.
It is good but there are some problems. We can improve...
1. We should try to pre-schedule each game and post the schedule on website
ahead of time. Last night, many people didn't know when the game would begin
while it was playing already.
2. For now, seems two games per day |

Never been to Powder Mountain, - sorry could not advise. It was a 2002 Oly ski site though. Ogden is a blue collar and Air Force base type of town in N. Utah.
Avoid the three resorts in Park City vicinity, be prepared to compete with celebrities and out staters. You may save a little in tickets but you spend alot in hotels, rentals, food stuff.
Deer Valley is where qmc's freinds found a 3.4m house with 15 restrooms, ha, |
