带着一家老小准备乘着暑假到加州玩2周，以下是计划的行程
因为孩子还比较小（5yr 和 10yr），所以所有的NP都只是到visitor center和容易到
达的景点看看，不打算hiking。也不打算住NP里。
Day 1-2: LV
Day 3: Death Valley，住Fresno
Day 4: Sequoia/Kings Canyon，住Fresno
Day 5: Yosemite （只游valley），下午/晚上开往SF
Day 6-7: SF-Napa和周边
Day 8-9: 1号公路，到达LA

北京时间13日晚讯 美国专栏作者Michael T．Snyder指出，与上一轮经济危机时类
似，无家可归者的露营地：帐篷村正在全美各地迅速繁衍，而贫困率正以危险的速度飙
升。据美国住房和城市开发部的数据，现在美国无家可归者超过50万，但这一数字正与
日俱增。
不能将目光仅集中在成年人身上，有报道称，美国无家可归儿童的数量自上次经济
衰退以来增长60%，据贫困美国组织数据，去年美国总计有160万儿童要么无家可归，要
么住在某种形式的紧急栖身之所。
的确，过去多年美国股市经历了长期牛市，但对美国最底层的民众来说，情况只是
变得越来越糟糕。
近期，在西雅图、华盛顿和圣路易斯等大城市中心地带搭建的庞大帐篷区中，无数无家

的地平线一下子清晰了好多。
ND是最不招人同情的，刚从烂队的泥潭里爬出来，就已经嚷嚷着见谁灭谁了。看看日程，
今年能去任何碗赛就是他们运气。
WVU最让其他大联盟的不败球队惬意。全胜的WVU可以跟别人叫板，输一场的WVU就只能自
觉地灰溜溜的藏在任何其他大联盟只输1场的球队后面了。
田纳西这两年跟德克萨斯有什么区别？还不就是赢了N多场球，教练简历上的胜率奇高，
但只要关键时刻肯定掉链子。另外像UTenn,LSU等这些一下子从大四QB变成不得不用新鲜
人QB的球队，明显是第二梯队建设没有搞好么。像俺们学校，每年都找来至少一个全国前
5名的QB,打首发的都是大三大四，才让俺们球迷们胃口倍儿好吃嘛嘛香。
Fresno State还是挺可怜，俺一直觉得BCS还是应该分点钱给非BCS球队。当然输了也就赖
不了别人了。Boise State加油干呀。
俺对OSU的感情是复杂的，一方面觉得这个队关键时刻挺得住，值得尊敬，另一方面，OSU
的比赛真是难看呀。输了也好，好好反思反思， |

没看过 toledo， 所以不知道，但 fresno st 一向是神经刀，昨天他们打得不错， QB
很牛，当然昨天 nebraska 防守很差，进攻开始的时候也打不开。
另外 nebraska 有很多 big plays，要么 3 and out, 要么 40-50 yard per run/pass
，每个 drive 差不多都不到 2 分钟，使得控球时间很短 （fresno st: 37'12", neb:
22'48"), 加上 field position 也不好，所以场面上比较难看。 |

的球迷肯定不如Michigan之类的多，但是有时候Fresno State 打BCS bowl，拿2000w的
奖金，而Michigan只能打个炸鸡或者牛排bowl，拿区区300w的奖金，是不是太不公平了

个到此一游性质的开车巡游。 只是不知道旧金山和洛杉矶之间的硅谷有没有什么可以
看看的。据说有斯坦福，伯克利，还有google,apple的总部，到此一游的话是不是值得
花1天时间留下照个像什么的啊？
我现在的行程在硅谷比较紧张
第一天：飞拉斯维加斯，晚上看夜景
第二天： 拉斯维加斯看show,赌博
第三天： 拉斯维加斯看show,赌博
第四天： 大峡谷，住flagstuff
第五天：从flagstuff开到Fresno
第六天：从Fresno开到San Francisco,下午看大桥，渔人码头
第七天： 上午早起去硅谷照相，开到洛杉矶，下午逛好莱坞
第八天： 迪斯尼
第九天： 环球影院
第十天：开到圣地亚哥，玩一天，住圣地亚哥
第十一天： 开到拉斯维加斯，下午胡佛水坝，晚上拉斯维加斯

你飞的都是中美国际航班吧？每个城市每天也就一班，根本没有任何大的变数，要取消
也往往改到后一天，并不需要特别多的信息量
国内航班不但飞的城市多，而且同一个城市每天好几班，信息量大许多，变数也多许多
，pek提供的那些可怜的显示屏完全不能满足正常旅客对信息的需要（当然对于那些迷
信登机牌上的信息都是永远正确的旅客来说，他们没有想看显示屏的需要，所以也不会
觉得缺少了些什么了）

07/22 环球影城，如果早点结束的话去看看星光大道，宿springhill irvine
07/23 迪斯尼，基本没有小孩（最小14岁），白天的项目是能玩几个ride就玩几个，主
要是看晚间的fireworks。宿fairfield inn buena park
07/24 离开LV，前往SF，沿5号or 101，快到17 mile island时绕过去看看海，宿
fairfield inn sanjose airport
07/25 金门大桥，渔人码头，晚饭后开车去merced住宿，courtyard merced。
07/26 开车去yosemite，游yosemite valley，然后去glacier point，如果有时间转转
mariposa grove，没有时间就出公园，夜宿fairfield inn fresno-clovis
07/27 基本是一天开车，从fresno到flagstaff，宿springhill flagstaff。

日转Kings Canyon National Park一天，晚上看完日落回Fresno住一晚，周一20号清晨
飞机离开。

小时，到fresno 90迈，两小时。我觉得差别在这。星期天从酒店去kings canyon从两
个地方出发都差不多距离，所以那个不算。tulare不贵，比visalia便宜。我定的
hampton才80块一夜。
关键是我的signifant other太懒还贪图享受。要不在公园里搭个帐篷多美，不过我猜
现在也顶不到营地了。 |

学城，感受一下美国最最更新的、流行的、时髦的文化，这些大学城更适合年青人玩。
美国的州立大学所在的城市和校园附近很值得参观和定居，这是对美国最新文化的一种
认识和接触 甚至是感受，校友的影响力（有点像清华的校友会那样）足以影响本州的
经济和政治，甚至是整个国家范围。
特别是8月底开始后 到1月中旬，一定要去看看 顶尖联盟（Division I-A）的大学校，
大部分都是公立学校，私立的数量少（校友会的影响不强）。 比如说 大12联盟 东
南联盟 大西洋海岸联盟 太平洋12联盟 等等 ...
做了一个列表 是以联盟的字母顺序排列。 如果是经常在美国旅游，可以一个一个玩下
来下面的大学城，玩下大部分的这些地方，对美国的认识可能会上一个台阶，其中有很
多大学城离 自然风景区 也很近 （比如像华盛顿，科罗拉多 大学 等） 我近几年国内
游会把自然风景和大学城旅游耦合在一起。
如果有在下面这些学校的留学生，也麻烦跟个贴哈，可以切磋一下当地好玩的地方，好
吃的饭店。

一般AMC之类里头的imax都不是标准的，有挂羊头之嫌。不过一般价格也比单独的imax
剧院便宜一些。

当然不可能是在大城市发生这种事啦。都是那些interstate或者state highway穿过的小
城市。亲身经历。。
FYI (随便找了一个网上的案例)
Texas State Highway 100 notorious with locals as a speed trap.
Especially brutal enforcement to out of state drivers.
Highway speed is 65mph except through Los Fresnos where speed is reduced to
25mph with very, very little warning (small obscured sign). Between I-77 and
S Padre Island on SH-100.
We drive this route many times a year and have never driven thru Los Fresnos

2. I got a call from a Kansas Congressman's (Moore) staffer (Howard Bauleke)
, who wanted to go to Cape Town. I started to explain the length of the
flight and the passport information, and then he interrupted me with, ''I'm
not trying to make you look stupid, but Cape Town is in Massachusetts ..''
