上周去听莎学讲座，前一晚临时补习被称为莎士比亚最出色的历史剧《亨利四世》，翻
开第一页：
“So shaken as we are, so wan with care,
Find we a time for frighted peace to pant,
And breathe short-winded accents of new broils
To be commenced in strands afar remote.”
一边查字典，一边仍不甚了了。于是重施大学时的故伎，从网上找来一个中译本，中英
对照读得省力。中译本的第一句让我眼前一亮：
“在这风雨飘摇、国家多故的时候，我们惊魂初定，喘息未复，又要用我们断续的语音
，宣告在辽远的海外行将开始新的争战。”

以前转过一篇讨论作家骂人的文章，比较长……：

左拉，文坛出言伤人大观》（Poisoned Pens: Literary Invective from Amis to
Zola）。这是一本关于欧美文坛作家贬评、苛责甚至谩骂其他作家的书，施事者凡两百
四十八人；受事者，或用大白话说，挨骂者一百四十四人。此乃笔者采用最原始的笨办
法，从正文之后的索引中计数所得。全书按时序分五大阶段：古典时代、奥古斯汀时代
（十八世纪）、浪漫主义时代、维多利亚时代和现代主义时代。

球馆的场地是周六晚上7,8点临时从一个城市换到一个小时以外的另外一个城市的。 这背后的故事是承办方是新开一球馆，还没正式开张， 原来想趁着这次比赛好好打一下广告， 没想到被竞争对手搞了， last minute搞来了警察， 通知说你们明天不能搞活动， 貌似是没有给disabled的ramp云云。 结果32支队伍在比赛前一天晚上接到通知换场地。。。 唉， 华人何苦为难华人。。。
第二天大早出门， 由南湾出发去SF。 赶上101大车祸， 大部队人马蜗牛爬啊爬， 终于还是准时到了比赛地点。 可是， ld公司的绝对主力（应该也是比赛中的第一大牛）和另外几个人居然摸错了城市， 重新绕回高速赶上大堵车， 半个小时原地没动。 无奈小组赛第一轮重新调整策略， 大牛电话远程遥控， 一堆人上马，中马，下马辩论， 结果还是很背运，上马碰上人家下马。。。 2:3输给G队之后， 大牛牛们及时赶到， 后面的小组赛全部3:0搞定， 小组第二出线。

还有，我们这里有个餐馆，每周二晚上classical music open mic, 吹拉弹唱干啥的都
有，水平从业余到professional,老师在那里弹琴， 鼓励我去唱，听众就是一帮食客，

仿佛已经知道了自己的归宿
可双脚却仍然踏上旅途
漂荡在远空的梦阿
还想去证明
它们都是多余的错误

暗色的酒杯 浅色的烟雾
深沉的话题不加掩饰炫耀的企图
沉重的摇滚 恣意的劲舞
过剩的精力只管付诸疯狂的速度
听都市脉动的节拍里满载放肆的追逐

真实的责任 洗刷了轻浮

译文
楚国有个渡江的人，他的剑从船中掉到水里。他急忙在船边上用刀在掉下剑的地方做了
记号，说：“这是我的剑掉下去的地方。”船到目的地后停了下来，这个楚国人从他刻
记号的地方跳到水里寻找剑。 船已经航行了，但是剑没有行进，像这样寻找剑，不是
很糊涂吗？
路24:5 妇女们惊怕，将脸伏地。那两个人就对她们说，为什么在死人中找活人呢？

楔子
这两天在听 Marie Kondo 的家务整理的书， 发现讲purge的部分也算是引导进入
前些时候听说的minimalist 的生活方式, 她对物品是否有用的yard stick
是拿到手里， 感觉它会不会带给你joy， 如果没有joy就要坚决处理掉。。。
这让我想到了let go的问题，用半佛教术语来说就是“放下”。。。

（一）一部分“我”的conscious >依附>“物质”
这种依附是情况很多， 说典型的我的
1） 书--车库里有一个大箱子装满了以前读书时候的教科书和笔记，
搬了几次家都带着， 因为心里总觉在需要的时候，那些书
能“充实”自己。。。。当时就是混学分， 有的东西觉得自己没学到。。。。
很多年了， 从来都没看过。。。
2）工具， 各种边角料-- harbor fright 买了挺多工具，各种边角料也存了喝多
不过99.9%没怎么用过，其实是想从反面证明自己是一个handy 的主。。。其实并不是。

上周去听莎学讲座，前一晚临时补习被称为莎士比亚最出色的历史剧《亨利四世》，翻
开第一页：
“So shaken as we are, so wan with care,
Find we a time for frighted peace to pant,
And breathe short-winded accents of new broils
To be commenced in strands afar remote.”
一边查字典，一边仍不甚了了。于是重施大学时的故伎，从网上找来一个中译本，中英
对照读得省力。中译本的第一句让我眼前一亮：
“在这风雨飘摇、国家多故的时候，我们惊魂初定，喘息未复，又要用我们断续的语音
，宣告在辽远的海外行将开始新的争战。”
