我6/16号的收据，7/8搬家，7/16好网上改的地址。后来打电话确认，对方说没有办法
看到我的个人信息，所以不知道改了没有。但是我应该在49天内收到确认信，是邮寄，
不是电子邮件。又安慰我说看到我有填改地址的表，EAD卡应该到时候会寄到新地址。
但是事实证明，USCIS不仅仅是懒惰的，而且是愚蠢的。我9月20多号网上状态变成
Approval。过了一个星期，在新地址收到一封信（邮寄的），说地址已经改了。我常常
叹了口气，心里一块石头落了地，以为他们处理完地址更改就给我寄EAD卡勒。但是哪
里知道，我的EAD卡还是寄到原来的地址了！！！幸好我原来没有找邮局给我forward,
到时和宿舍的Frontdesk说了，请他们帮忙forward我的信。所以我还是很快收到了，是
宿舍的front desk forward给我的。
USCIS这帮人，我无语了。前车之鉴，大家以后改地址小心 |

发帖数: 33 | 9 今年似乎IEOR的形式不错，我所认识的所有学IE的都拿到不错的offer，银行的，咨询
的编程的都有。本人比较烂，去年博士毕业形式不好，换了一所学校做千老，主要还是
项目为主，很少的research. 中途投了无数简历，各行各业的职位都试过，叫得上名字
的有morganstanley,boa,bb,amazon。印象比较深的是一家搞医疗的，居然混到onsite(
校友功不可没）。 比较遗憾的是morganstanley，一个极要好的朋友推荐的frontdesk
的quant职位，他也在那个group里面。恶补两个星期的finance，最后onsite被折磨。
如果再多给一个月的时间复习可能会有不同的结果。
最近拿到的一个offer是个跟OR相关的编程职位。面试过程基本上没有任何技术问题，
除了过简历就是聊天。幸亏面试不少公司，各种刁钻的behavior问题都准备了不少，安
全度过。
找工业界工作将近两年就这么一个offer，也不容易，待遇还行，准备从了。希望H1b顺
利。祝福各位正在找工作的，要有信心，坚持下去一定会有好结果。 |

software to maintain schedules, and these schedules can be delievered to
individual or in blast through SMS, email, voice/call etc. The difficult part
is that the person himself needs to interact with you to set schedules, and
most people are layman...I would like a pretty Virtual Secretary or frontdesk
if you can provide :) |

I'm local so never need to take that shuttle.

I heard the Snowbird is good but has mostly black diamonds.
I'll be staying in the Hilton in downtown so would like to drive no more
than 1 hour each way.

发帖数: 23 | 30 抵Aarborg后次日正好一天有空。久闻丹麦北部海边风景秀丽，想出较远的的地方看看
，因此到FrontDesk询问，正遇一美女一帅哥值班，英语流利出于意料之外。同欧洲其
他地方比，丹麦人纯朴憨厚，出奇的客气热情。
原先打算去最北部，同挪威隔海相望的Skagen,后来发现要2，3小时车程。最后就定去
Lokken,离开Aarborg约一小时的巴士。没来丹麦前曾想租用一辆车的，后来看到公共交
通还方便，自驾车路和标志又不熟，也就作罢了。
Lokken是一个旅游的度假村，外国游人不是很多。小镇色彩斑斓，古色古香，恬静舒适
，很有童话故事的味道。时间好像把那里遗忘，乡民悠闲淡恬，似乎没有我们凡夫俗子
的尘世间的烦恼，一片世外桃源。
那时也恰逢国际沙雕展览，顺便去看了看（下集）。

虽说从湾区开过去也不算很远，但是考虑到年纪一把，还是轻松点的好。非旺季时，去
Vegas的机票往往超级便宜，$49单程。可是我们要赶在thanksgiving去，三张机票就拍
出去$900多，肉痛。
如果只是在Vegas玩，车的确是不用租的。我们因为要去national parks，所以租车就
是必须了。出发前在national car怎么都订不到便宜的车，只好priceline bid。车是
Hertz的，有选择的话，强烈不建议定他家的车。我是national的emerald member，
bypass frontdesk习惯了。在Hertz排队超过大半个小时，等的我心烦意乱。Hertz的员
工说话很不直接，总是拐弯抹角回答你的问题，车也不好。（-）
LV所有hotel的parking都离registration暴远！！！！！

地点：69 East 79th street， New york。一般出租车司机都不知道希腊领事馆怎么走
（倒是基本都知道中国领事馆，感叹祖国的强大呀，^_^），所以最好有地址。
材料：网上说的都要，办事的女士还很仔细，会一样样找你要。我带了银行的
statement，但是忘了信用卡的。她问了，但是我解释了一下也算过关。另外记得要有
护照，和回美签证的复印件，光原件还不够（貌似网上也没要求清楚），楼下的
frontdesk就会check。另外我也提供了H1b的复印件。
收费：79.20.必须要是money order，其他一律不接受。网上貌似没说，反正我没看见
。好在离开领事馆不远有个BOA。一报这个79.2，BOA的teller就知道是来希腊馆办签证
的，看来碰到这个问题的不是一个两个人，而是很多人。以前觉得中国，美国的领事馆
服务不怎么样，见了希腊的，就不难明白这个国家经历的这些困境了。
fingerprint：在领事馆里面直接弄，省去很多麻烦。不像英国签证，还要跑到美国政
府代理机构弄。

们的年龄都有40以上了吧。牙整齐不止好看，而且人也会健康些的。
做矫正去见ortho第一次是free consultation，看看treatment plan, 谈谈finacial
arrangement. 多谈几家，不同的office target 的patients 不一样，医生的技术和风
格也不一样，还有payment option 也不一样，看看你喜欢哪家，牙矫正最快都要半年
，选一个你觉得comfortable的office还是很重要的。 一定要shoparound.
也可以去dental school去做， 能便宜不少。 另外，ortho treatment 是eligible
for FSA 的, 有些保险还cover 成人的费用。 |

本来今天计划的很好，出门看病，回来时候去walmart买卫生巾。结果今天一大早就没
有好运气。Bloomingdales加到cart里checkout 时候没有了，没买成，安慰自己说省钱
了。结果出门看医生丢了钱包，悲催的连中午买饭的钱都没有，卫生巾今天用了最后一
块，需要买也没钱。来美国10多年了，我的钱包里基本没有现金，最多20刀。可是今天
的钱包中有将近1000刀现金。最奇怪的是我无论如何想不通我的钱包到底丢在哪里了。
钱包很大，里面装了我所有的卡。
自从遭遇小三和老公出轨已经4年多了，一直都没有走出来。7月份因为一些事情我又一
次陷入了depression，一个月的时间不与外界交流，躲在家里无穷无尽的看电视，每天
只吃一顿饭，手里的工作也停滞不前。一个月以前我觉得不能再这样下去了，约了心理
咨询。约到了今天，为了今天能去这个therapy，我推了好多其他的事情。1pm的
