“自我实现”是美国社会学家罗伯特·默顿提出的一个概念，也叫“自证预言”（
Self-fulfilling prophecy）。预测本身恰可以促成被预测事件的发生，而如果不曾被
预告过，这样的事件也许根本不会发生。通俗点讲，比如有人随便造了个谣言说“盐要
涨价了”，拜人类的技术进步所赐，现在造这样的谣言很容易，只需“围脖”一下。哪
知最后，这个谣言竟成现实，因为盐果然涨价了，对这样的结果，可能连该谣言的始作
俑者也瞠目结舌。其实一点也不奇怪，对这个谣言的“宁信其有，不信其无”
致了一部分人对盐的“囤积”，市场上的盐的供给量随之减少，盐的价格随之上扬，完
全符合经济学的供需关系原理。
卡尔·波普尔建议用“俄狄浦斯效应”来命名这种预言的“自我实现”现象，在波普尔
看来，不是什么无可更改的命运在作祟，而恰是“杀父娶母”的可怕的预言参与了事件
本身，一步步地促成了俄狄浦斯“杀父娶母”事件的完成，杀父娶母的可怕结局正是那
个可怕预言的直接后果。

涮过题。 不然肯定过不了。 如果是FLG水平的大牛， 我个人还是建议去FLG， 就不
要浪费大家的时间了。 想把refer给需要的人同胞。
现在亚马逊还在大量招人， 各种level都要， 面试的算法感觉要比FG简单一些， 但很
注重其他方面的match。 如果面试表现好， 待遇虽然不比FLG但也比很多其他公司好。
至于压力， 其实和组有很大关系， 我入职前也很很多在亚麻工作的朋友聊过， 工作

Pygmalion effect就是一个sfp的例子。Pygmalion原来是古罗马诗人Ovid的一个虚构人
物，他是个雕塑家，并且爱上了自己的作品。爱神Venus受到感动后，把他的雕像变成
真人，成全了他们。后来肖伯纳写了戏剧Pygmalion，主题思想挺象Julia Roberts演的
Pretty Woman，一个教授和他的朋友打赌，要把一个低俗的女人培养成上流社会的形象。
Pygmalion effect又称Rosenthal effect，我的理解是“无中生有无变有”。
Rosenthal做过几个有名的实验，其中一个是这样的：他找了两批智力（就是走鼠迷宫
的能力）相当的老鼠，然后把一批给一拨学生，并骗他们说这批是聪明的老鼠，另一批
给他的另一拨学生，并骗他们说这是批愚笨的老鼠。这些学生训练老鼠一段时间后，他
们对老鼠的智力的认识和rosenthal告诉他们的一模一样。 |

Brightpoint (Fulfilled by Amazon)'s price has gone down a lot in the last
few days probably due to the dailysteals sale, but it's now sitting at $488
which is only about $24 over DS's sale, and you'll get it immediately
instead of waiting the week + from DS.
I bought the DS item but wish I had gotten this one instead. Just heads up
for everyone.
