I just wanted to throw in a little perspective here.
I was at the game in 1982 when Majors defeated The Bear and the goal posts
were torn down (what a night). I was in New Orleans in 1985 when the Vols
crushed Miami (suck-it Jimmy Johnson). Several years later, I watched as
Majors was replaced by Fulmer.

Indeed, there are many Ph.D. programs that can be closed. The first one on
my list to close would be the Religion program in Columbia university. Why
do we need Ph.D.'s specializing in religion? Leave that area to the rabis
and ministers!

UK basketball 地位要高好多，因为有７次全国冠军， 无数的ＳＥＣ冠军， 历史上
获胜场数最多的球队
俩个队的教练都是获得过１次全国冠军， 但都是在很久之前 （９８，９９年），最
近两年都是形势不好。 ＵＫ的ｆｏｏｔｂａｌｌ 和 ＵＴ的ｂａｓｋｅｔｂａｌｌ
倒是有了很大提高。
ｒｕｍｏｒ 说两个教练座位不稳， 好像ＵＫ的ｓｍｉｔｈ更困难， 把曾经的"
Rome of college basketball"带成现在的样子， kentucky 的球迷根本不答应， 据
说 UK 可能买断smith 的合同， Smith 的 防守很强， 但是 offense太滥了．
Fulmer 要好一些， 至少它的recruit每年都很好， 并且球队一直可以和 Florida,
Geogia竞争

范德比则是很强势。
先说田纳西和奥本。我感觉他们很快就要反弹了。大家还是要给他们尊重的。田纳西近
7年3次进sec决赛（虽然
一次也没有赢），奥本13-0的赛季还历历在目。他们今年的堕落主要是连续几件的主力
QB eric ainge和
brandon cox的毕业，和新QB rotation的问题。现在田纳西这个问题已经解决了。nick
stephen这场打
得不错，fulmer show里教练也说以后就是他了。我想应该没什么问题。还有就是不要
再搞什么G gun了，好
好的围绕QB和foster，hardesty打就行了。奥本的franklin本来是主用todd的，现在看
来tt还是比较喜
欢burns，其实去年burns就差点挤掉cox的主力地位，小伙子能跑能传。
阿拉巴马和范德比被邻居奥本和田纳西压制了好几年，不知道今年能不能翻身。400万

成绩恶劣，Fulmer 惨淡离开。
开赛以来，没想到进攻线问题这么大。去年进攻平均每场拿30来分，如今一场拿6分7分
，不是一般的烂啊。几场下来，连评论员都纳闷，称田纳西是 “self-destructive”
。曲终人散，听说田纳西进攻的排名全国倒数第四，也就是说，你所能叫出名的队伍，
都不可能比田纳西更烂。衰啊。
今年的问题出在进攻线上。进攻教练走了一个，来了一个。走的是老江湖 Cutcliffe，
赴 Duke 当主教练了，晋升是Clawson，来自草根队 Richmond。
空战上，无论是 Quarterback 与Wide Receiver ，还是 Quaterback 与 Running Back
，显然都没磨合好。本赛季新任的首发 Quarterback Crompton 表现很差，先是第一
场对阵 UCLA 时 mess up in the front，在 red zone 攻不过去，然后在后来的一场
比赛中 mess up in the back，在自家底线 fumble，总之，配合 |

先简单回顾一下01赛季两队的表现：UF在Spurrier执教的最后一个赛季兵精将猛三军用
命，虽说那是一个属于Miami的年代，但那一年的鳄鱼，是当时号称唯一有实力击破
Miami不可战胜神话的队伍。当时的毛人是NCAA最优秀的QB之一，为当年海斯曼奖的大
热人选；而他的一班WR兄弟们：Taylor Jacobs, Reche Caldwell, Jabar Gaffney都是
之后数年间活跃在NFL界的优秀外接手，加上同为NFL球手的RB Earnest Graham。当年
的全国媒体都在期待这样的鳄鱼能在最后的冠军赛中和不可一世的Miami上演火星撞地
球的世纪对决。不料在那一年有人抢在这两队之前上演了对撞的世纪大戏：拉灯大叔指
挥着几个手下炸了纽约的世贸双子塔，而那一周正好是UF和劲敌田纳西的比赛日。举国
齐哀之下，比赛延期到了常规赛最后一周，本来伤病累累的志愿狗，得以恢复到最佳状
态，在主帅PHIL FULMER的激励下，在鳄鱼主场成功阻击了UF的冠军赛梦想，UF只能眼
睁睁地看着UT去了亚特兰大的SEC冠军赛，兴致阑珊地去了橘子碗修 |

前四人是现任或前任SEC教练，David Cutcliffe也算是SEC血脉，当年在OLE MISS当HC
和在UT当OC都给UF苦头吃过，难道都是UF或者MEYER的死敌？在FAU混日子的
Schnellenberger虽然07赛季跟UF交手过一次，但被打的满地找牙，也算不上劲敌啊。
况且Mike Riley远在西岸的太十，Pinkel在中部的大12，勉强算是MEYER当年求师学艺
的师父之一，在VT的BEAMER就更加没啥关系了。

2009年，对Auburn, 是Saban临场改变了OC的call,最后我们胜了。
2009年SEC冠军赛，是我见过的CF所有比赛中，指挥得最好的之一。
Saban没有临场指挥能力？
OK, saban输了所以指挥能力不如miles?
2009年，对Ole Miss, 加上2010对Tennessee最后时刻糟糕到极点的临场指挥, Les
Miles获得了mad hatter的蔑称，可算悲催到了极点。所以他应该被炒掉？很多球迷这
么说，可是懂球的AD不这么认为，所以他留了下来。今年，他很有可能获得5年来的第
二个全国冠军。
一个不错的教练，需要有极好的招生(比如fulmer, kiffin)，或者极高的执教水平 (
petrino), 二者有其一，就已经是优等品。二者兼备者则一定是顶级抢手货, 比如
saban, stoops, Meyer。
懂cfb的人应该明白一些基本事实: 1) 大学生只是学生，一群不到20岁每月只拿奖学金
