。氯仿的毒性还好，一般也吸不了几口。只不过这种事情输不起，建议quit化学，别做

顶红那个级别。但还是得在fume hood里做。为了以防万一，也同时戴个full face
respirator吧，在fisher scientific有卖，很多种，你打电话咨询下看该买哪个：http://www.fishersci.com
另外不管啥药品，用之前一定得先查它的msds（Material Safety Data Sheet）。你
google下msds chloroform，先通读一遍再说。比如这个：

这类数据在sigma-aldrich和fisher scientific上也有。必要的话就拿这个msds去找

学品不是最可怕的，只要注意防护就行，最可怕的是你旁边有个不怕死的，不遵守安全
规则，化学品不在hood里做，到处乱放，不盖瓶盖。。。所以周围的人很重要
Respirator不是自己买个随便戴的，如果我没记错的话，先要填表，要看医生，证明你
适合戴respirator,公司需要Respirator program，要定时换cartridge, 每年要做fit-
test |

不是我不努力发文章，估计自己笨了点有关系。当年大老板把我指派给2老板带，2老板
说他是C. Liber 组出来的，信心满满投稿到NL 去了，一周后Nicoles Alivisatos给了
友好的拒信了，然后那哥们急了，让我讲了半学期Maxwell方程组给他听，哥崩溃啊。
好不容易将文章发了。
老板说life science最有前途，我也不想做啊。他说你到底在干嘛，一个个research
proposal 给他拒了，还臭骂N顿。终于他开心地接受了Life science 的proposal。这
不坑爹吗？
然后开干了，2老板说你做理论研究吧，说做纳米的人都是笨蛋才做的，可是我要毕业
啊，我就说我还是做实验吧，他很不爽。然后实验室装修，等了3个月，然后一个
Postdoc不给我fume cupboard 又等了3个月。只要做了3个月没有结果，我就放弃，我
要毕业啊。终于第2篇文章写好了，他要挂他一个学生的名字，我一听不爽了，NND，不
帮忙就算了，还下坑给我，我能给他加吗？于是友好地拒绝了他的要求，终于他说我不

你老板说的是干净干燥的氮气。你怎么会想到液氮去呢？
平时买来的tank里的氮气，出来都是经过regulator的，压强非常稳定。
空气里大部分是氮气，放些到房间里来根本不觉得。只有你一下子打翻了几十升的液氮
，全部液氮快速汽化的时候，才会出现窒息危险。
你要实在有心理阴影，把通过的气流导到FUME HOOD里去就可以了。
或者，就买一罐压缩空气，出口用regulator调到30psi接你们的chiller。然后你直接
呼吸排出来的空气。
所以现在成了个难题，导师说要么实验室买泵给空气加压，要么换用干净干燥的氮气。
前者会产生很大噪音，还要占地，维护，等等；所以导师倾向于后者。可是我认为液氮
tank提供的气压不稳定，随着消耗，气压会逐渐降低导致实验中途温度升高而失败（预
计一个实验需要连续几天至上星期）；还有就是我非常不愿意待在氮气环境中，氮气比
较多的时候我会犯困不舒服，以后如果成天通氮气，我不愿意，因为我们实验室很小。 |

showers. And do set a fume bomb in your home to kill the fleas after using
flea shampoo on your cat. |

also being impacted by internet and bleeding value.
Someday, I hope Google, Cisco, At&T will be welcome into China, and Tensent
and Baidu, Huawei will be welcome to the US. And export ban to China, a
long time friend and ally and partner, will be relaxed. "Pivot to Asia",
the anti-China foreign policy will be abandoned.

度35度左右，不如Mt. Baldy大坡直接上陡。但是如果发生滑坠，可能掉进crevasse，
甚至fume hole里（下场基本是憋死或烫死）。七月初接近攀登季节末尾，落石和掉进
crevasse的危险增大。
Mt. Langley有名额限制，不知道7/4能不能拿到permit。Mt. Russel是个mega class 3
，有一定的exposure。

for duct work in the house. If that is the case, it is made from galvanized
steel, heating and cooking on top of that metal beyond 392 °F (200 °C) can release zinc and cause metal fume fever, please see this link for more info.

2.Kendall Jackson, Chardonnay, 2004, $13.89(这款酒03年评分90，04年91，05年90)
这个算加州不错的酒厂了，他家的酒一般都不错，中秋节刚喝了一瓶他家的Chardonnay
，忘记哪年的了，好像是05年的，淡淡的，Pinot Noir没喝过，不过因为我偏爱Pinot
Noir，所以推荐
3.Robert Mondavi, Fume Blanc, 2005, $12.99(这款酒03年评分87，04年92，05年89）
这款酒我没喝过，不过根据往年的评分来看，应该不错，而且Robert Mondavi是加州很
