But the major good thing about ikea is easy return.
Bought sectional sofa from Mor and had to go throught hell to return one

这是很久以前的文章，囧，突然又被推送了。
我还是很欣赏宜家的民主设计。真正通过成本控制让好设计进了更多家门。
题目只是一个吸引人的噱头而已，大家别当真。
^_^，那时候写东西好轻狂。得罪人的地方请多包涵。

前段日子关于家居的文字，没想到得到这么大反响和喜欢，本是写给自己的东西，算个
记事本一样。看来很多人对家有期待，家是居心地，我习惯用中村好文在《住宅读本》
中的这个词形容家，而不是Le Corbusier所陈述的“住宅是居住的机器”。法国哲学家
Bachelard在《空间的诗学》有句话说“屋顶合围的空间，孕育着梦，隐匿着做梦的人
”。所以家是暧昧的，安全的，窝心的，值得托付的，也更是值得重视的。所以今天闲

如果不想多花钱，downtown有家Stick N Stuff，此外还有Standard Funiture，Big
Lots也卖点家具的。不过，一分钱一分货，这些店子的东西肯定没那么好。
不怕花钱的话，可以到Mazer看看，离UAB也不算远。Hoover有几家家具店的，价钱不算
便宜。 |

我上回说的不够详细，这次说详细点，大家再帮我出出主意吧：
我可能在伯明翰待5年吧，所以不想买太贵的了。我看了看Costco的，确实像你们说的
那样，是面向准备安家的人，我觉得我没有必要买那么好的。
我没开过小卡车，估计去亚特兰大往回拉宜家有点悬啊，再说弄回来还要组装，我看了
看宜家的网站，它说他们deliver的话就不能派人去给安装，所以这个还是太麻烦了。
另外我也没买过宜家的家具，不知道质量怎么样。
伯明翰当地的商店像Macys, Sears之类的是不是也有家具呢？那些家具怎么样？
我主要要买床、饭桌（带2－4把椅子），布艺沙发、茶几、卧室一个柜子、电视柜，另
外顺带着可能还要买灯和别的家具（这些都不是特别重要了，可能看到了觉得需要就买
，没有也就算了），希望3000左右吧，不要超过4000。样式无所谓，只希望材料安全，
尤其是希望新家具味道不要很久才能散啊。不知道这样的情况哪里买比较合适呢？
ps to Laura: 是不是Standard Funiture，Big Lots的家具比较像沃尔玛卖的那样？

macys质量比Jordan's好，价格跟bernie and phyl差不多了。再加上你要是有些macys
gift card用不掉，就更合算了。如果知道使用不超过5年，bob's也是可以考虑的。 |
